Use this as a body tech, works great for what I use it for. Will buy again for a gift for a fellow tech.

This seems nicely made. I got it to do blacksmithing. The edges of the face are too angular so I rounded it down a bit. That prevents it from leaving unwanted hammer marks.

this aides in keeping my scythe cutting edge razor sharp for harvesting my wheat and cutting other grasses and small woody weeds and saplings. i utilize the scythe instead of a weed eater in hard to reach areas and on hill sides. its a great work out and you can cut much faster that a weed eater and don't use any fuel or have to work on engine, nor charge batteries.

TLDR: durability concerns for the hammer head, but still worth the cost.The handle contour on this one is nice for gripping closer to the hammer head. The handle has a lacquer finish that I opted to remove but after that it feels great in the hand.The face and peen both needed a good amount of grinding to dress properly, but not a terrible amount and I was able to do it with a worn belt - which leads to my main concern: the "hardening".Either this isn't a high carbon head or the heat treating isn't quality controlled because I got small dents in the face within the first hour of use (likely from miss-strikes on my part, but still). I more suspect the carbon content because of how few/puny the sparks were while dressing on the belt grinder. Basically, don't expect a hard-faced hammer.All in all, though, I'd still call this a good value hammer. It's not fun seeing dents in the face after the first use but everything else about it is good. If it lasts a whole year then I'd likely buy another one, else if it starts breaking apart I'll look elsewhere. Either way, I'd recommend it for this price range.

I needed a good forging hammer for bulky metal jewelry work and this is the perfect size. I wonder if they also make a smaller one. I did need to polish it smoother however, but not a big deal.

Fits my hand nicely

I love it. Thought it was going to be too heavy since I am a 70+ female with arthritis and other problems. IT IS A PERFECT weight. It gives me the extra strength needed without making it unberable at my joints. I will give 100 starts!

Je l'aime beaucoup, je l'ai depuis 1 mois et il est toujours avec mon enclume. Le coté carré a très peu d'arrondis et c'est très efficace pour redresser des pièces de métal. La qualité semble excellente, le manche est bien collé à la tête et il n'y a aucun jeu.Et surtout.... Il donne un style super à une enclume... Ça fait très beau!I really like it, it's make a month since I recieved it and it's alwais with my anvil. The square side is pretty flat and it is pretty usefull for straighten out metal parts. The quality seams excellent, the handle is well glued to the head and there is no loose between them.And mostly... It gave a sharp style on an anvil... Its really nice!
