I recommend not filling them with water until you're ready to use them.

I have compared these balloon prices on nearly every site. This was the best bang for our buck! Loved the color and ease of filling!

It's really a great idea, but there is a flaw in them that kinda spoils the fun. I used these yesterday in a water gun battle, and here are my thoughts.The main flaw is that the balloons do not actually pop on impact. We went through all 100, but only a few exploded when they hit a person. I filled them up until they fell off the "bunch", but even after filling to max capacity, they would either just bounce off you and splatter on the ground (which smarts quite a bit but does not actually get you wet) or the sealing band would come off and the balloon would just squirt the water out (which will get you wet a little if it squirted on you but not as much as it would if the balloon exploded upon impact). The problem is that they're made of a tougher latex than the average water balloon, so really, if you want to get your target wet you have to break it over their head, which will work, but only if they have their back turned and are not expecting it.So, I still think that it is worth buying because of the efficiency of filling, but ranged combat is definitely not the balloons' strong point. I will try resting them in the water next time instead of holding them over it (I didn't have a big enough bucket to do so this time) and maybe that will allow them to fill up larger and therefore make a difference.Hope this review is helpful to you, and may all your opponents be drenched. Worked well for the event kids had fun with them

1 set was a dud - tiny holes throughout all the balloons preventing withholding of water. Other 2 sets were ok, but didn't fill as easily as I remember Bunch of Balloons filling, as in they didn't drop off the vine without help. I had to manually slide them off the tube. All in all, the kids had a good afternoon, so all is fine, I guess.
