Good pen without paying through the nose and breaking your bank account!
This pen is a joy to use!I write a lot, a heck of a lot, i have a dream journal (many now), diaries, recipe notebooks, letters to my stateside friends (old school lol) and i really needed a pen that would last, looks nice and writes well.Well it writes ever so smoothly, in fact it is probably the best pen i own, it seems to glide over any paper you wish to use, and even though i bought 2 replacement ink thingys, i am yet to replace the original ink bit in the pen, so that is a massive bonus i feel.It does come in a nice presentation case but i never keep these, and at night i keep it with my dream journal and the magnetic clasp on the journal means the pen stays stuck to my journal until i need it in the middle of the night or the morning, or whenever i wake up from dreams, it is always there and always together.Such a quality pen, feels great, looks fab and works so well, i highly recommend this one if you are looking for a good pen without paying through the nose and breaking your bank account!

Really nice pens for a reasonable price
This is now the fourth one of these I have purchased, two for my partner as he lost his first, and two for my mum. They both have jobs which require a fair bit of writing, and they both absolutely love this pen.Not only does it look the part, but it's also very high quality and you won't end up with it falling apart in five minutes like cheaper pens. This will last a long time with the available refills, which are also reasonably affordable and are available in blue or black ink.The pen is very smooth to write with, it's not at all scratchy but it's not so smooth that it's like writing with a paint brush. This is ideal for myself, my partner and my mother.I couldn't recommend this enough. It's such a nice pen, and it's something so simple that you wouldn't think you would appreciate it that much, but you really do. Makes a lovely gift, or a nice treat for yourself and at a very reasonable price.

If you like good quality, comfortable and unusual pens then I would recommend that you seriously consider this one.
I have to admit that I like good pens and in my job there is a lot of writing involved, so a comfortable pen is a necessity rather than a luxury,at least that is my excuse.I find the Parker jotter pens too narrow for my hand and my fingers start to cramp when using them. I bought this pen because it is wider than the jotter pens and the chiselled finish looked as if it offered good grip, however my fingers grip below this feature which was a little disappointing. The gunmetal finish is very unusual and striking, unlike any other pen which, hopefully, will help to prevent it falling into the hands of colleagues or being misplaced.I was surprised at how light it is only 26 grammes, compared to my favourite pen the Parker Urban Metallic Chrome Trim Ball Pen which weighs in at 34 grammes, which I would like to use at work but is too wide fit in my uniform pen pocket.I find it very comfortable to write with and I look forward to using it at work.If you like good quality, comfortable and unusual pens then I would recommend that you seriously consider this one.

Amazing quality, good for general use and artistic use.
I work in medical photography in a local hospital but my degree was in fine art, I love sketching with ballpoint pens, Parker are among the finest.I had a sketch in mind but I haven't been liking the Mont Blanc rollerball I was using it was too leaky and way to expensive. With this pen I was able to depict in great detail the ulceration one patient had on his scrotum, I was even able to very accurately capture the sheen of the seeping wound which was exactly as it had presented, this is almost impossible with rollerballs. In general this pen is a very nice weight and has a very satisfying clicking action. For the price it is brilliant quality. I would strongly recommend this pen for general and artistic use.Get it you wont be disappointed. btw, its a budget pen so don't expect a fancy presentation case, however, if you bought a fancy presentation case, the recipient would think it was a very expensive pen.

Great pen but left-handed people may struggle with it.
I've ordered a number of Parker Pens from Amazon and they've all come quickly and elegantly packaged. This particular model writes well and feels quite substantial in the hand. The only issue I have with this pen is that the unit unscrews just at the point where your index finger and thumbe grip the pen. Now whether it's just me being left handed but I find that every few minutes, I have to re-tighten the pen otherwise it feels like I'm slowly unscrewing it. May just be how I'm holding the pen, but it's something to keep in mind.

Great pen, smooth writer, perhaps better suited to spy's than emergency physicians
This is a great pen with a reasonably weighty feel to it that is substantial enough to feel like a quality item without being too heavy to be uncomfortable. The pen used standard Parker ball pen refills which are always consistent and good quality so you know when you replace them they offer pretty much the same smooth writing experience.Clicker is smooth and gives a satisfying sound. Pen is obviously a wider bodied pen than say a plastic BIC disposable which so it's obviously no good for performing an emergency tracheotomy in conjunction with your swiss army knife but your could conceivably customise it to fire poison starts using some form of compressed air cartridge perhaps. It also makes it more comfortable to write with.
