G Tech multi 2
Great machine. I looked at a few before choosing this one and very glad I did. It is powerful and the powered brush attachment is fabulous on stairs. It appears well made and robust. I have a Cat that sheds a lot, and it dealt with this with ease. I have Fibromyalgia and this is easy to hold and not too heavy. I am loving the attachments too. I have invested in a spare filter though, as I like to keep them washed frequently and noticed they take a while to dry. Very pleased with this Vacuum and highly recommend.

Check the Gtech website for price
The vacuum is fine, it obviously doesn’t have the suction of a mains powered “Henry”, but it is more than adequate for a quick job and works well at sucking up grit from car footwells, as well as crumbs in crevices in car seats. The included tools are good for most jobs, the extension tube makes awkward corners easy. The rating would have been 5* had it not been discovered after purchase that buying direct from Gtech would have saved us £30 (they had a special offer at the time).

Fantastic - Great for the Elderly
It is only the first day - but I am so pleased with this hand-held cleaner. I previously bought cheap (Chinese?) versions - which were fairly good but eventually lost their charge and had to be thrown away. Then I bought the Shark one - the very attractive stick version. It looked great but didn't work very well - so I returned it. This one isn't very pretty (a woman's opinion) - but that doesn't matter because it works really well and has very good suction. Excellent for the stairs (with a bright light) and the crevice tool is really good. I am elderly, and need two hip and knee replacements - so my stairs have always been a problem. Not now though. Some say it is heavy - but I certainly don't think so - and I have arthritis in my hands. Be careful at first removing the battery / filter etc. as it may be a little stiff. Wriggle things a bit (as they suggest) and they all work fine. It does say you need to remove the battery before changing the attachments (a bit of a faff when you are on the stairs) but you DON'T. I phoned their helpline and the lady (who also owns one) says there is no need to do this. This machine has been well thought out - thank you Nick. Nice to have a spare filter too when you have washed one, and good that you can buy attachments, and an extra battery. Seems like British workmanship at its best. If you are careful with it (it is plastic after all) and keep it clean and unclogged - it should last a fair while - and it does have a 2-year warranty. It is early days for me - but I thoroughly recommend this cleaner. Should I have problems in the future - I will amend my review. EDIT: It was said that you need not remove the battery when changing attachments - but when I spoke to another rep. and she said they recommend this when using the brush bar (on the K9) because you could accidentally turn on the machine. So a H&S issue but if you are careful it shouldn't be a problem.

Much better than a Dyson- I've had both!
This is brilliant. It runs at least twice as long as my Dyson one, and is full on power (Dyson has two settings, the high setting runs like this). This is also much cheaper than Dyson. It is better designed than Dyson. Easily removable battery. Can buy a spare and swop out. Easier to empty than my Dyson. Can swop out filters (decent value) easier than a Dyson and have a spare for drying time. Watch out- there is a 'crevice tool' actually on board this. I had no idea until I read reviews- it is hidden in the handle, the green thing, I just thought it was part of the design. Even better, can whip out the crevice tool as and when needed, always on board (with Dyson you have to go and get it). The product is awesome and sometimes like when I bought it on very keen discount. My second Dyson battery was on its way out, and has to be unscrewed etc to be swapped over, that has now gone to the tip and I have definitely upgraded.

Well worth it!
This is light and easy to use, has good suction power, and the running time is longer than our old hand-held Gtech.

Great little vacuum cleaner. Perfect for car detailing. Ideal also for stairs and other awkward places.

You're getting a wireless hand vacuum, so keep your expectations within reason in terms of power. For what it is, yes, it does indeed blow the competition away. It is ungodly powerful for what it is. I clean my bedroom floor with it almost daily and it gets everything. It lifts so much stuff off my carpet floor that I didn't even think existed. Cleaning it out is a breeze. It's very lightweight. The attachments are perfect. Its flaw, like with any handheld wireless vacuum, is its battery life and charging capability. It runs for about 30 minutes before dying. It takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge. But what are you even buying this type of vacuum for? You're not cleaning the entire house with it. You're using it ideally to maintain specific spaces. You don't need to use it for more than 30 minutes. Trust me, the cons aren't even really cons, just expectations with these types of vacuums. Do yourself a favor and grab one if you're considering something like this.

Works great on my stairs

Buy this vacuum! I got tired of dustbusters that gradually lost their charge and their suction, and were a pain to clean. This battery lasts! The collection bin is a snap to clean! And, the included tools mean I only pull out my big vacuum for a whole house clean. This is the mini vacuum you' been looking for!

Nice little vacuum with good power but a couple drawbacks Due to the shape (arch at the top) I can't vacuum certain things without the power button being pressed. There is an extender which helps, but if it was straighter, I could use the brush roller in those spots. And, the battery is decent enough but I can't get v through all of my furniture across the apartment on a single charge unfortunately
