Durable, very convenient, worth the money
This is the best gift that I’ve received this summer!! It provides me with everything that I need whether I’m traveling long distance or just to the beach for a day. It keeps all my soda cans, fruit, and sandwiches nice and cold for the beach. I keep the mini refrigerator plugged in while driving to the beach and once so arrive and unplug, the bag stays cold for hours!!! Also, when I’m traveling long distance with the kids, I can easily pack all drinks and food without purchasing on the road. It saves us time and keeps the fresh quality of food. The most impressive feature is that it also works for warm food! The insulation serves to keep warm food which works for my potlucks at work. The versatility alone makes this a great purchase! I highly recommend!

Keeps cold drinks cold
I use it in my side by side. It's well made, perfect size. There's no need for ice, no water or ice spills. You need to start with drinks already chilled. It'll keep them cold but would take some time to cool them.

Keep it out of the sun and heat
This cooler is great as long as you can keep it plugged in. Or at least charge it for a few minutes every half hour or so. We used this on a motorcycle trip. We have full dress touring bikes with top cases able to accommodate the bag with 12volt outlets. I used this initially outside the top case and loaded it with frozen water bottles and an ice gel pack. The bottle that comes with it does not have a screw top and is just press in, so it will not hold water once it melts. No rubber seal. So throw it away. We were running so there wasn't a lot of rest time. It was a high 80s day and the inside lost it's coolness after about 3 hours and maybe 10 minutes of total run time. Coming home, had more room in the top case and was able to keep it out of the sun and plug in about 5-10 minutes every hour and a half and it kept it cold with no frozen bottles or ice packs, as we didn't have access to a freezer, just a refrigerator, in our hotel room. This is super quiet, could use it pretty constant if you needed a fridge. Unit's mechanicals does get warm and is not water proof so don't put ice in it unless it's contained. Watch for excess condensation...wipe out as the units cooling can produce moisture accumulation. If it needs to be outside, look at an insulating wrap as the zippers leak the cold through them as they are the thinnest part of the bag's top. The cooling part needs access to air so you can't wrap completely. But for it's price point you can't beat it. Comes with a 110v wall plug too so it's able to be used anywhere you have an outlet.

It's working ...
I just received this and it is working, and I must say very quietly. I used the plug adapter I bought to plug it in in the house. It is blowing cold air. It is a nice size for what I need it for. I will be traveling soon, and I wanted something for my drinks and water to stay cool. I love that it's not that heavy and I can move it easily. I will then use it in my office at work to keep my lunch and drinks cool.I will write more when I know how fast it cools room temperature drinks. It comes with an empty ice "brick" so you can fill it up with water, freeze and use with this in the hot weather. I don't expect it to work as well as my refrigerator, I just want my things to be cooler than the outside temperature. After almost 24 hours, I am still fairly pleased. Temps got down to about 57 degrees after 3-4 hours. I'm sure it would have been faster if my drinks had started off cold instead of room temp. Overall this works well. I'm not sure it works any better than a regular cooler with ice packs, but it is lighter to carry without all that ice. It is very quiet! Be sure to remember not to obstruct the airflow in the back of the cooler, so don't put that side to the seat back in your car or it will get hot fast!Yes, I think I would buy this again.Well, I had my first long trip with this, and I was disappointed that it "sucked" a lot of current from my car battery during the trip. I was so concerned that I unplugged it before turning on the car AC. I didn't run it all on the way home. 6 and 1/2 hours each way. It did keep my drinks cold on the way up. I now have mixed feelings with this. Buyer bewareUpdate: completely stopped working without warning. No interruption in power. Just quit. It's not even 6 months old. This is ridiculous. I would love to have my money back but I don't think that's going to happen

Keeps items cool
Works as expected. They made it clear that it is to keep items cool vs not cool them down. Use with ice packs and/or previously cooled drinks.Temp in picture is after several hours overnight.

Large Power draw
This is rated at 50 watts but Ive seen it go as high as 72. Here is a picture of it drawing 67 watts.I bought this because my portable fridge/freezer is just to heavy to lug around. I know this is a cooler and not a fridge but 67 watts is just to power hungry. Be careful with it draining too much power from your car.It will keep drinks chilled at 50 degrees but dont expect this to be like a fridge which can go as low as 33 degrees.Value is a bit expensive for what it is. A good cooler with a lot of ice packs might just be a better solution for me as I go to 6-8 hour all day sporting events. Dragging along a power station with 4-5 hour run time is not ideal. Without power, there are better coolers. You still need ice packs with this to circulate cold air. If you are doing a 6-8 hour road trip where this is plugged in while you drive, then I guess this can make sense.
