Great price and mine was good quality.
For the price it works better than over priced Benchmade. Mine was tight, well finished and razor sharp. D2 steel is as good as most steels if you can sharpen a knife. I have hundreds of knives and some of the clones from china are good but others you buy at your own risk.

not bad for a cheap clone
Decent benchmade clone, D2 steel so it doesn't hold an edge that well but it does the job for a cheap knife.

At this price we know it's fake
It's a fake of a well known knife but it's well made and sharp

Cromulent!
I have owned a Benchmade 940, the real thing, for a very long time. I'm quite familiar with the knife, and I love it, it's my main knife. The 940 is no ornament, but neither am I going to trash it with abuse. If you need to do something purely utilitarian - open bags of concrete, cut through thin metal straps, break down a pile of boxes or a cardboard crate with staples - this is your knife. Another reviewer mentioned the scales are rough, and they are. They don't sit in the hand (too square cut, too unfinished) like the Benchmade scales do. So what. The mechanism, as delivered, is not as smooth as the Benchmade, and yet this knife arrived in the mail full of oil. A cleaning and a dab of lithium grease later, and it's super smooth. Easy fix. The blade on this knife is not sharp out of the box. Sixteen passes or so on a handheld stone, and it's great. No big deal. It might sound like I'm making excuses for shortcomings here, but I want to be clear I am not. THIS IS A $40 KNIFE THAT WORKS GREAT FOR A $40 KNIFE. If you know you like the 940, and you want those ergonomics but not that price, buy this. It's a very good knife for $40, and with 10min of effort it's a very good knife for $100. It's not a Benchmade, side by side this is clear, but also, I hope you have better things to do with this knife than sit around comparing it with a Benchmade. Go use it!

WHY PAY A LOT MORE ?
Knifes are precision & quite excellent. Why pay a lot more?

Cheap, gritty useable copy of the real thing, unmarked for country of origin and type of blade steel
Blade lock springs too strong, handle sides too flat with sharp edges, but blade profile and blade finish good. Minor effort by the manufacturer could have made this a great low cost alternative to a $290 real deal.

Highly disappointed and eagerly awaiting return
That it’s easy to assume the product information is a clear representation of the item. In this instance it is clearly NOT. Over priced by industry standards, under achieving by physical personal hands on testing and grossly over priced by my conservative estimate in the neighborhood of 80% avoid this farce at all costs

Judge it on it's own merit, not compared to the real thing.
It's super light, and gets pretty sharp. It doesnt hold the best edge, but it hasnt rusted. The d2 tool steel, i dont know if it has the best heat treat. But it was 20 bucks. I did use it a lot. It worked for what I used it for, boxes, cutting steak, packages etc.
