Hey.I bought these matches because it says that they are Water and Wind proof, which is a must if you are out in the wilderness and need to get a flame going, and these matches can do that, don't get me wrong, but as soon as you get the lighting strip on each end of the container wet it becomes useless and will rip and not light any matches you try on it.This is a real shame because no doubt these matches are brilliant but if you were un-aware of this and you were either caught in a real survival situation or were dependent on them to get your fire/stove going then you would be in for a tough ride!Surely you can get rough waterproof sandpaper like lighting strips and stick them on instead of what is there now, would make this product outstanding, but as it is, I only bring these matches with me if I have another source of flame (only because of the sudden blast of flame from these matches is very helpful for getting a fire going!)So yeah, up to you what you ultimately decide but please be aware of this fault, wasn't fun finding out the hard way!Cheers,Stefan.

Absolutely perfect I had to separate lots one waterproof one windproof but with these it's both in one saving space in my bug out / survival kit

Used them on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition - Quite hard to start, but once lit lasted well.

Not enough space on the package to light easilyMatches snapped easily so a whole pack just lasted a three day trip

totally useless as the matches do not light. the striking patch is tiny. We only got one to light.
