Escape The Wolf: A Security Handbook for Traveling Professionals Paperback – 1 April 2009

This book does not cover every situation in the world, how could it? It does give you a framework to prepare and assess the hazards of foreign travel. The chapters are short and concise though a bit heavy on the jargon and acronyms. As this is written for the American traveler I put this down to unfamiliarity with American terms. If you travel and have had no formal training this book is a must. This book does a bit of scaremongering about the foreign threat but if you have seen the innocents abroad, as many tourists seem to be, they need a wake up call. Worth the read.

Excellent advice for personal safety in any public space in any part of the world. Buy this if you want to increase security when traveling for you and for those you are responsible for.
