This is a very good quality product which finishes off my new door perfectly. Both the mechanism and the function work smoothly. The emergency release function on the outside is a nice touch with us having young children. My joiner found this an easy product to fit

Looks great! Fairly easy to install if u know how to. Precision fit, not much room for error. Could be a pro or con. This item is high quality and very good value with all the parts provided for a full door installation, including the deadbolt.I also can't fault the customer service, they were very helpful in answering some queries I had, being just a DIYer. However this reflected the fact that the instructions were a bit limited and had little in them for DIYers. At least there were some instructions (unlike some other similar items on Amazon it seems), including a template for printing out.The main problem with this item is that (a) while the deadbolt turned smoothly outside the door, once installed it became much harder to turn, despite me chiselling extra channels etc, and (b) even if it wasn't hard to turn, the turning knob is quite narrow, so there's not much to grip onto, and so you can't apply much turning force. My elderly mother (for whom I wanted to install this) simply didn't have the strength in her fingers to turn it to lock the door - so it wasn't much use!I would recommend that you buy another type which has a much wider (eg. 'butterfly' shaped) turning knob on the inside face - this will always make it much easier to open and close the lock, especially for older people or children.
