This letter opener is my favorite thing on my desk. I hardly use it out of fear of snapping the sword- but I bought it more for decoration anyway. It really looks great.

VERY NICE!
I received this item this morning, a full 3 weeks ahead of schedule, and it is sweet! When I first looked at it I thought, "hmm, small", but then I put it on the shelf to display and it looks great! The so called sword is TINY, and useful ONLY for display on the dragon's back! I expected this, so no disappointment! I ordered and received a different figurine as well, and the two look terrific together! I realize it is a mass produced product, but whoever made the original design put much effort into it, as the detail is spectacular! Thx, seller and Amazon! P.S.- sword could be used as a letter opener!

Very dull.
It looks alright, though can’t really see what it is unless in proper lighting and a light color background. The reason I bought this was to have a sharper knife/letter opener than my current one but it barely did the job. Don’t even think of opening the tape on packaging. The glue sticks to it and won’t cut the tape at all. I returned it.

I bought this for my husband who loves dragon books. My only complaint is that it is on the small side.

So much better than we expected
Took a while to arrive but when it finally did, my boyfriend was absolutely in love. It's gorgeous down to the last detail. Blade could be a little sharper but it works amazing and looks great.

Plastic dragon, but still love it
Can only give it 4 stars due to the fact that dragon is plastic not metal even though it says pewter.. perhaps it said pewter effect and I missed it? not that I don't love it!!! I think it's brilliant and the most random birthday present I ever bought anybody. the sword is beautiful, it's got little carving on the blade near the handle really really like it! hope the daughter-in-law does too ..she's got a bearded dragon, so I'm hoping!The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the Dragon being so dark the details not very apparent unless you pick it up to look at it which I don't think she'd prefer.. and because it's hard plastic so might not survive if it was ever dropped

Rubbish letter opener
Looks nice but letter opener very small and tears the envelopes and on one such envelope tore an important document, so not very efficient. On contacting Seller was told I would have to pay return postage (just under £3) because they've never had a problem with this item. When you buy a product online you cannot test it's efficiency. I'm glad I didn't give this as a gift because the receiver would of had a rubbish letter opener, but if you want something just to look at then buy it
