Turtle Wax FG6905 Color Magic Scratch Remover, 500 ml, Light Red

I had a few wind related scratches on my car but with local treatment with this polish they are now not visible

Really good stuff . . . . . . . .I recently bought a new car (not brand new), but it had quite a few miles on the clock and as a result it had lots of stone chips on the bonnet & wing mirrors, so i bought the Turtle wax color magic in red to match my car paint colour.Firstly i used the Chipstick on most of the larger stone chips building up the layers as instructed on the bottle, then i applied the color magic to the car using a waxing foam sponge, i left it to dry to a haze and then buffed of with a super soft microfibre towel (i did one panel at a time).The results were amazing, all the hair line scratches were gone, all the stone chips were hidden and best of all the car had an amazing shine.I have attached a few photos of the wing mirrors (before, during and after).I know the Chipstick won't stay in the stone chips/cracks indefinitely, things like a jet wash will probably blast it out over time, so i used a paint sealant over the top of the color magic to seal everything in, hopefully this will help its longevity.A real bargain for the price and ever after doing my whole car, the bottle was still well over 3/4 quarters full.

I have two white cars at the moment, a Mini Cooper (in white silver, not that awful pepper white), and a Volvo C30. While both cars are different takes of the colour white, they both come up a treat with Colour Magic.I still find the little chipstick pen a bit of a mystery though, as I can never really achieve what I’m probably supposed to when it comes to covering over minor scuffs and scratches. That might well be down to user error though.If I were doing a proper full-on valet of one of my cars, I’d consider a top coat of something after the Colour Magic treatment. It might be nice if they bundled in a recommended application cloth as I’m sure some of the cloths I use are probably the wrong fibre density or something.Price-wise though, at £5.95 (at time of review) I think that’s pretty reasonable value.

I had scratches on my caravan back to the metal purchased micro cloths from Screwfix rubbed on in circle motion on and off 3 to 4 occasions back as normal Turtle wax magicIs what it says magic

I bought this in order to spruce up my Honda Jazz which is Black Amethyst Pearl in colour. The Black Colour Magic was recommended as the most suitable colour on the Turtle Wax website as they do not do an exact match for the Honda colour. I used this in what I would call ideal climate conditions for application and it performed well inasmuch as it did a good surface restoration and removed old tar spots etc. However the rate at which it removes surface grime is very much down to the elbow grease that you are prepared to use - the harder you rub the better it works and you need to re-work stubborn areas several times. Don't buy this expecting it to remove scratches as it doesn't. It may provide some benefit on the very faintest of surface marks but beyond that you will need to get the guy from "Chips Away" to call and do a proper job. Many years ago I used to use the original formula T Cut which for me always did a fabulous job at removing surface grime on the various Mini's that I owned. Unfortunately the present day formulas do not seem as effective no doubt because of legislation controlling the use of the various chemical additives that worked well in the old days. All in all I was quite pleased with the results after using this product although it does have its limitations. I will be happy to use again.

All as described. Not tried product yet due to weather. Should be good as from turtle wax. No problems with purchase

This worked on my sons bright red Fiat Punto better than I thought it would. It did hide light scratches when used properly and these stayed disguised for a few washes when it then needs re-applying.Overall if you take the time with the polish and the chipstick, this makes the car looks excellent and as good as any I've used before. Just be prepared to get very red hands and use a cloth that you don't want to use again. It does really stain and takes some cleaning off.Only 5 stars because I think it could be a teeny bit less expensive.

My husbands car is a 14 year old Camry. It runs great but the dark blue metallic paint has many chips and scratches, especially on the hood. We did our best to touch up the larger chips and later used this blue wax product... not expecting much but we were very impressed by the outcome. The hood looks shiny and the paint sparkles. Most small chips and scratches are invisible. Great product!

Great for hiding imperfections in the paint. It will eventually wash away so regular waxing will keep the paint looking nice.
