I bought this for my living room tv as have a cheaper one in my bedroom without a usb box and it works great! However this one was awful so I returned it , it states it can work without the usb box but it can’t

I've just got a new internet provider + tv subscription but while the installation I was told that I needed an outside "Aerial" I was quite upset because I didn't know it will be required. The engineer told me that if you don't want to have outside aerial you can try "internal aerial" but he also told me that he was pretty sure it wasn't going to work. I ordered this product to try. It was tiny and I wasn't even sure if it's was going to work, and I tried and I really surprised with the result. First it's very easy to install and after I scanned I got more than +100 channel I'm not sure if it's a combination of my tv package + this aerial, But this aerial does the job perfectly. The second topic engineer told me that it may work but the quality won't be good with internal aerial. I live in house and I even didn't put the aerial somewhere top or the window it's sitting next to my tv and the quality of channels are really good so far. I highly recommend this product overall. I will buy one more to my Campervan too.

The supplier was wonderful and understanding. A refund was issued as a good will gesture. The explanation was it does depend on the area you are in so if in the middle of nowhere, it may not work. I spent 2 hours searching for channels both from the short and long range options but it did not pick up any channels.

Bought this for the bedroom tv, as intergrated loft aerial gave up the ghost. So for a tenner, thought would give this a go. Set up was easy, scanned 120 channels including freeview HD channels, signal strength is very good but quality dips and causes squaring, particularly on Channel 4. But on the whole does a decent job for the amount of time spent tv in bedroom, wouldn't buy for main tv though as standard picture quality not the best.

Dont know how but definitely finds and holds digital channels better than the previous flat panel arials ive bought for the other tvs around the house.
