I live in a hard water area.My shower head was in need of descaling.Down on performance and jets spraying in random directions..One was going out the shower door and onto the floor.Mixed a bowl of this up according to instructions, and dumped the shower head in it after my morning shower.The following morning I put the head back on and all jets were at full strength and in the right directions.Poured the used fluid down the toilet, and it also came up nice and scale free.Next time I descaled my shower head I noticed an added benefit.It removed the rust-spots in the stainless steel bucket I used to clean the shower head in.So I tied it on another item.Yes, it is also very effective a removing rust form stainless steel items, but takes 3-5 days.
