It's as beautiful in person

An attractive light fixture but very fiddley and difficult to install. Prone to finger prints and easy to string up incorrectly by missing 1 hole. I expected the crystals to easily hook into the "base" however, they actually have to be threaded on like a key ring. As you can expect this is extremley difficult and time consuming and dangerous while 10m up in the air while on a ladder. It is far too easy to miss a hole and mess up the whole pattern so you have to take undo all the strings you have installed wrong and start again. This also gets very easily smudged with fingerprints. Even with the gloves provided.

I really love this light fitting in my dining room. It was simple to fasten to the ceiling and hang the baubles with a plan of where they should be suspended. It is a very heavy fitting with real glass baubles and I have only suspended two thirds of them. Real glass is well worth it for the effect of light. With a patio door and second window in the room the reflections multiply and it looks fantastic.

The light is absolutely gorgeous and an absolute bargain for the price!. It is rather fiddly to put together as you have to attach each line of crystals to the fitting which takes around 1-2 hours to complete. If I were to pick a fault, the instructions could be a bit clearer as they are a bit vague.

Purchased this chandelier for the ceiling above the hallway stairs. This chandelier looks absolutely stunning once installed. The installation for fitting of the base and wiring was carried out by an electrician because there was no lighting fitting to replace this with, also due to the weight of the base (once all the attachments were all in place) had to be securely held in place, this was done by fitting wooden batons between the ceiling joists installed from the loft (all this was done by the electrician) but I assume competent DIY person could manage this. The crystal raindrop components were fitted by the wife once the electrician done his bit and this was accomplished by standing on a plank between two ladders on the stairway and top of the stairs (as provided by the decorator we had at the same time of installation). Do not start adding the crystal raindrop components until the base is secured to the ceiling, wired up and bulbs in place.

Allow plenty of time to assemble this, and be careful, the round flat plate is razor sharp. When all done it looks great.
