Solar Fountain, Floating Solar Powered Water Fountain Pump for Bird Bath, Garden, Pond, Pool, Outdoor Solar Founatin (2.5W)

This is a simple fountain that I purchased for an x-large bird bath. It sits in full sun and the water shoots up about 6” at the most. I like the little extra it brings to the bird bath, however, I don’t like having to constantly clean it. If your bird bath is in full sun and is susceptible to slight algae, only a little bit of it will clog the valve. And, as others have said, it only works in full sun and not when overcast, since it’s solar powered. It’s fun but, keep in mind that it will require constant maintenance. If you are looking for a “wow” factor, this will not measure up.

Originally gave this 4 stars, then it broke right after return period, but then it started working again so back up to 4 stars. It works nice, is difficult to clean and will need to be mostly disassembled to clean.

This is a great little fountain for our pond. It keeps the water moving so mosquitoes don't breed. It makes a nice water noise. It looks lovely. Please keep in mind that if the sun is not shining on this fountain, it doesn't work. If the sun goes behind a cloud, it stops immediately. When the sun emerges from behind the cloud, it works again. It only works while direct sunlight is hitting it. If in the afternoon it is in the shade, it doesn't work. It doesn't "charge up" and continue to work when it's not in direct sunlight. Our pond is in the sun most of the day so it's great for us.

But only in DIRECT sun. Won’t work where I intended that has dappled sunshine, but will devise a water feature on my deck.

This little thing has way more power than I was expecting it was able to empty my bird bath in twenty minutes because it sprays the water up so high and over the rim.Good thing it has one attachment that sprays the water out to the side and down so with that said my only complaint is that it does not have a attachment to just recycle it because it’s scarring the birds and I hope they get used to it soon so overall it’s well worth the price and I’ll give it a 9 out of 10

This works perfect in our birdbath to keep the water moving so the mosquitos don't start breeding.

Purchased for a backyard bird bath, this works very well, and will even run at low volume when the skies are cloudy. It comes with a selection of "fountain heads" that let you select what you'd like the spray pattern to look like. Good value for the money.
