OK, all of the fabulous PacSafe anti-theft measures on this are A++. But here's why I absolutely love this bag: that shoulder pouch on the front right shoulder strap. I have 7 million miles on various airlines, so I'm in and out of airports. I travel very light, and I've never carried a purse--one more thing to worry about and lose. (I use a very small wallet (Exentri trifold), but when traveling, getting that wallet out of my backpack to buy a quick water or show my ID has always been a PIA; there's never enough room to set my old PacSafe backpack down. Enter this PacSafe Commuter backpack: I *love* the shoulder pouch on this!! My license and credit card fit right in the slot on the shoulder pocket, and cash fits in the pocket in front of the cards. It's easy to reach and easy to unzip and zip. While some reviewers say stashing cards in the shoulder pocket might be uncomfortable, it doesn't feel any different to me with or without something in it, and I'm not going to use this for hikes; it's for travel only. Also for those who carry loose items: it's not as evident in the Amazon or PacSafe info, but in addition to the two large zippered (lockable) compartments, there are two very roomy zippered pockets inside those lockable compartments, and another quick-access external zippered compartment on the back of the backpack. Keep in mind the total depth of both this 13" and the 16" Commuter is just 4 inches, which is perfect for me as I travel very light; there's plenty of space after my computer, tablet, my pashmina wrap for freezing cold planes, and a lot of other small items. But if you carry many bulky, hard gadgets, 4" may not be enough and it could get uncomfortable if you pack this thing with what would fit better in 8 to 10 inch depth backpack. But if you don't carry half of your office when you travel, you'll love this! PACSAFE: THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT SHOULDER POCKET (and of course all the great anti-theft features)!

Ich mag die Firma bzw. deren Produkte ja an sich recht gern, aber der Rucksack ist zum Arbeiten gehen ideal. Hab da einen 13 Zoll Laptop, ein iPad Mini und noch ein paar andere Dinge drin. Ist klein und handlich, hab überhaupt keine Rückenschmerzen mehr und trotzdem genügend Platz für alles. Wollte den großen Rucksack nicht verwenden, weil der nur Laptop-Fach hatte und das iPad wäre mit dem Rest im Hauptfach gewesen. Noch dazu wäre er zu groß für die kleinen Geräte. Habe jetzt längere Zeit Umhängetasche verwendet, davon bekomme ich jetzt aber mittlerweile Rückenschmerzen, wenn mehr drinnen ist. Dieser Rücksack hat jetzt beides abgelöst (und natürlich waren die anderen Sachen auch von Pacsafe - mittlerweile verwende ich nichts mehr anderes, wenn ich in der Stadt unterwegs bin).

I can’t say enough about how good this bag turned out to be for my travels. The safety features worked well. The bag fit so much including my MacBook, some files, and some carry on items. With all its pockets, I ended up using it as a purse as well. Definitely recommend this item to anyone who’s travels and want their personal items to be secure and dry.

We were traveling to London, and heard all about the pig pockets and other types of theft that occur. I chose the smaller size because this was just for walking around the city. Once you figure out how to work, the locking mechanism, it’s pretty easy but it’s still, kind of a pain to work with – but that’s what you’re buying it for. Bought a different products from this manufacture for my wife, which was much smaller. Also, very happy with that. Again, this isn’t easy to work with like a regular backpack and that takes some getting used to but, you’re buying it for protection, from theft rather than convenience.

This compact bag fits two 13-inch laptops. The bag itself has a very solid, secure appearance and feel. The bag's inner lining is a little loose, and the zipper occasionally snags it, which is my main complaint. Overall, I can still recommend it. Just be a little bit careful when you zip it up.
