Some have timers some dont!!!! This is TOTALLY a manufacturing fault. They really need to go through their inventory because this is easy to fix. I bought two boxes. One box of six were fine, the timers worked just fine. It's really cool! The OTHER box of six did NOT have timers. The stickers on both boxes said 5 hour timer so there is a problem way down the line, these BOXES are mislabeled. So if your timer isn't working you need to return these and the seller needs to find out which boxes are mislabeled. I returned the broken box. I hesitate to reorder because its a real crap shoot whether you get the box with timers or not. BATTERY LIFE: So far so bad. The candles come with batteries that lasted exactly three uses. so..15 hours, three nights. They came with a replacement battery so that was good. Sadly again, these replacement batteries worked about three nights, a bit on the fourth night but not much. I replaced with a more name brand battery. Then I found that of the 6, one has a broken timer now and doesn't shut off after 5 hours, but these new batteries have gone 6 days still working. They do have a kind of creepy green glow but it's not really that bad. I really wish there were a product this size that would reliably work with a timer.

These candles are not to bad at all. Just to be clear they are real small, a few would work nice in a small room...bathroom. They work well if you have enough depending on how much mood lighting you would want and the size of room. We put several of these in our bedroom for mood and accent lighting. I like the 5 hour timer, nice just to turn them on and they shut off and come back on automatically. It was also nice to get an extra battery for each candle. Only gave it 4 stars because they look bigger than they are. Should have paid more attention to the measurements.😄

This set of voltives I love! You just turn them on and they go off in 5 hours and they come back on when they are suspose to. They look real, size is perfect for all your holders.The entire candle lights not just the top and the light effect is perfect! If your looking for timer voltives dont look any farther. You also get spare batterys.Ive had mine going for two weeks on same battery.Battery compartment is real easy to get to, to replace. Remember on the bottom there is just on and off switch.Just turn them on and they will go off automatic and come on again when they are suspose to. I have tried a ton of different timer voltives and have been very disapointed, These are the best out there as of today that I have tried.Ive tried many.I highly recommend these. Darlene(Fritz)

Mine did not come with timers either, like two other reviews stated. It seems like some do have timers and some don't- even though they are advertised as having timers. It's just luck of the draw. Don't count on the timers (my box says 5 hour timer but there isn't one.) I have other electric candles that DO have timers. I'm sure it's the candles and not me.If a timer is important to you know that you may not get one.If you don't care about a timer, save a dollar: Amazon has this same box of 6 electric votives without a timer for a dollar cheaper.I am returning these because I do need a timer. Otherwise I forget and waste the battery.P.S. My battery life was better than other reviewers, but they did dim a lot after a few days of use.

I was very happy with them at first, but not all worked correctly. Probably would not buy them again. I bought 2 packs, 12 candles, and half of them do not work properly. They will come on as some do, but never turn off as they should with the timer feature. They will not work as timer candles which is why I bought them in the first place. It would be too much trouble to return them now, but I was very disappointed in the product. Sorry.

I am very happy with these candles. Have had them for 2 and a half weeks and still on the first set of batteries. The timer works consistently and on schedule. The candles flicker nicely and, while more subtle than a real candle, they throw a nice glow. One candle is more of a white hue than the rest that are yellow.

Delivery was very prompt (9 a.m. on Sunday). Tried one out, and unfortunately there is no timer feature. It has been on for 7 hours. The timer was the reason for the purchase as I wanted to use it on my deck during the evening. For the price and extra batteries (if they are actually good) I will keep them but am extremely disappointed. Not as advertised.

These are pretty powerful for such small lights. They are brighter than some of the larger and more expensive flameless candles that I have. The only down side was that one of them did not work unless I held it upside down! I would still purchase these again. The cost is good and they even come with extra batteries.
