Works perfectly!
I bought this for 2 reasons; because the dog gets into the bin and because I have an additional needs teen who refuses to touch a bin lid.I have tried many things... this bin just does the job simply and well. I have it facing backwards so that the dogs don't activate it.You wave your hand near it and it opens quickly, then closes after 3-4 seconds.Its battery powered, looks smart and is a decent small size.

Works like a charm
It’s gorgeous and works beautifully! So much more hygienic as well! My only issue is that it takes AA batteries and not rechargeable! It’s not a massive issue obviously but seeing as everything is rechargeable these days it’s a bit annoying to have to remember to buy batteries 😂

Not smaller than o realised
Having said that it works well, and most things fit (just have to take plastic recycling down stairs to the recycle bin. Overall its looks good and works well.
