These heavy duty contacts are designed to be fitted to garage doors or roller shutter doors. They are manufactured to be of a robust heavy construction for use in a garage type environment. The contact has an integral flexible armoured cable sleeve which protects the cable connected to the contact. The cable should be connected to your alarm system through a 6 way junction box (sold separately, view our other items). Grade 2 contacts with an operating gap of 50mm, Material: Aluminium, Cable protection: Approx 18 inch / 450mm armoured sleeve, Pre wired sealed construction, IP rating: IP67, Dimensions: 150mm x 40mm x 15mm. These are normally closed contacts (when door is closed circuit is closed) and therefore work with all the leading brands of burglar alarm panels: ADE, Accenta, Optima, Gardtec, Risco etc.

It's of solid construction.
I like the fact it's of solid construction.I would have liked the part that fits on the roller door, to have been smaller. Not so wide.I may have to cut it down.
