When I decided to try ordering this one online, I had already returned two duvet inserts that I went to the store and shopped for, because they were too hot. This one truly is cooling and the weight is decent, I was concerned that it would be too light for me. I thought I may miss the feel of down or the down alternative fluffiness but I do not, and this one feels like a good quality duvet insert. I would recommend using a duvet cover since this one is cool to the touch, unless you like that feeling. So relieved to finally be sleeping soundly and to have found a very comfy cover!

I had comforters in the past, but this time I wanted to go with a duvet and duvet cover, and this brand is the way to go!!! Excellent quality bedding products, and the buttons or ties on the inside keep things in place. I forget if it has ties or buttons because I have been using this product for months and it always makes me look forward to snuggling up under the covers.

There were so many other Duvet inserts that were less cheaper and I’m so glad that I decided to get this one! It washes wonderful and is so soft! I love California design den products!

I sleep with Jersey sheets and a fleece quiltThe apartment stays pretty warm but it’s with radiator heat and the building is old so it’s a bit drafty. I got this duvet insert because there was a duvet cover I really wanted. WOW such amazing quality that came out the box I would sleep with it by itself if I didn’t have cats. I was soooooo warm I had to run here to write a review. Amazing definitely buy it it’s work the money. No weird smell out the box and the loops are very sturdy

Perfect for my husband & I. I’m a hot sleeper & my husband gets cold easy. This duvet is perfect for both of us. It’s cooling but still keeps you warm. It has a slight heaviness to it but it’s kind of soothing. My only complaint is that it’s not as fluffy in a couple spots. But I got a king size to slip into a queen duvet cover and you can’t even tell. It bunches up and looks and feels fluffy. High quality with a great price. Highly recommend!

Covers mattress and box springs.

We received the box and thought ... wow ... did we order the wrong item? The box was so small and we had ordered a queen sized comforter! The box indicated it was a Queen sized DOWN comforter. Not starting out so well but we thought ok for the price maybe this should be in line with what we should have expected.Ever the optimist we decided to have an open mind. Upon opening the box the first thing that hit us smack in the face ... " feather stink". The comforter was vacuum packed and (queen size shrunk down to what you would think a twin size should be) ... the "stink" was a faint oder of a bird cage. Ok plus side we are guessing there are at least real feathers in this comforter ... but we don't understand how the smell could still be so strong when the box clearly says hypoallergenic (as in cleaned).We let it air out for two days. The smell dissipated. The next challenge. The comforter was a "pan-caked". So flat and very little "fluff" for being a down comforter. We punched it about a bit and did our best to fluff it up and put it into a nice new duvet cover. We laid it on the bed only to discover that it has a "crunch" about it. Literally it makes a crunchy noise ... far from the dreamy idea conjured up in having a down comforter on your bed. Even our husky refuses to sleep on it ... and that's saying something since she will literally sleep upside-down on any given piece of furniture.We will give it these positive mentions; the comforter is very well stitched, the piping is truly superb and the size is actually a queen size as advertised. However, we say ... save up a bit more and don't skimp on the purchase if you are looking for a a good down comforter. There is a reason why true quality down comforters cost a bit more. Lesson learned.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. This comforter is exactly how it's described on the company page. It's soft, fluffy, quiet, keeps you a comfortable warm, the fill is evenly distributed and it's cool to touch (I put mine in a duvet cover).

This is the best deal ever! Super warm, yet lightweight. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone. We have a queen bed, but I ordered the king quilt. Good choice… no hogging the quilt!

This duvet is what I have been searching for for a long time. It had to be just right because I can’t test duvets at stores so I took a chance on Amazon and this delivered perfectly. The thread count and stitching is very high quality. The comforter is like what they use at 5 star hotels, super soft, fluffy, and each square is filled with nice down and feathers. I find the sound the duvet makes very comforting. I was worried it wouldn’t expand to the same thickness as the pictures, but it did and I am so happy. Thank you!In the picture attached I have a cover on the duvet, same company. Also very nice.

This is a gorgeous, soft duvet! When the packcage arrived, I couldn't believe how light it was. I put the duvet in the dryer on low for 20 minutes and it fluffed right up. I'm so happy with this especially considering the nice, low price!

As noted in the title - the filling is only 70% down (30% feathers) as per it's attached label. The online page also didn't claim to be 100% down but it probably should be clearer on that point to avoid a surprise to the buyers.Regardless - value was good and it feels very comfortable. I suspect it is on the warmer side of "All Season" but I'm okay so far with it.It is a true baffle box construction which is a premium feature at this price point too. So far - I'm happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

high quality, it says year round but i can only use it in the winter. it gets too warm
