FPS DISTRIBUTION PMA Belt Slip 500ml Aerosol

The fan/dynamo/waterpump belt on my old Morris Minor started squeaking but only after a run out. The belt was old so thinking it was an age thing, I replaced he vee belt.Still the same. I was beginning to suspect either the water pump or dynamo were the culprit. To eliminate the belt before spending money on new components I gave this a try.Followed the instructions, sprayd it onto the belt, left overnight. Lo and behold, no more squeak. It has to be the belt and or pulleys. Using this stuff has at least temporarily fixed the symptom but not the cause yet. It is very sticky and I think the old trick of sprinkling sugar on the belt would have worked.However, this stuff did work for me but has to be regarded as a temporary measure only and the cause/source of any squeak determined and rectified.

I was just about to give-up on my 40 year old Merry Tiller because the reverse-drive belt kept slipping and I couldn't source a replacement belt, when i saw this aerosol for sale on Amazon. I purchased a can and the result was instant. The tiller now works as well as it has ever done with no belt slippage whatsoever. The aerosol seemed to be one of the cheapest on offer too.

I had a slipping fan belt, making an awful screeching noise: the belt itself was in good condition and the tension appeared correct so I'm guessing a pulley bearing is on its way out. However, it's three weeks to Xmas and the last thing I need is a garage bill, so I thought I'd try this stuff. Worked instantly: no more noise, the belt is moving fast and smooth. Of course this doesn't solve the issue, at some point the pully's will have to be checked and replaced as necessary, but it's not the sort of thing that will fail overnight and this product keeps me on the road: marvellous! You get a large can for your money, it's quite tacky so avoid spraying on yourself :-) Delivery was before estimate, it came well packaged so five stars for the seller too. Would recommend and would buy again.

Used on a belt that would always screech on start up despite being the correct tension - one squirt and problem solved. Plus I have enough for about 50 years left in the can!

Straw would not stay in the spray nozzle. It did not work to stop belt squeal.
