DilmahPremium Ceylon Tea BOPF 400g Loose Black Tea

I am very HAPPY with my purchase! I bought the tea as a present for a friend in Australia and it is now en route to Sydney! It's on quite a global adventure! My friend is very much looking forward to his afternoon tea when it arrives as he has been unable to purchase pure Sri Lankan Ceylon loose tea in Sydney. Thank you very much for making his wish come true! I also love the Sri Lankan post marked envelope, which I have forwarded on aswell! I'm a very happy customer!

I was given a present of Dilmah Tea from a friend who had recently visited Sri Lanka, liked it so much.

Very disappointing the quality has plummeted

Since trying this tea I've turned into a tea snob... all others just don't compare! Just a shame it's so hard to get in the UK as I was living in New Zealand and it's one of the main teas in the supermarkets there. Such a good cuppa!

I said in an earlier review that I hadn't yet opened this tea, but had had it in New Zealand and it was lovely. Imagine my disappointment when this particular tea is like dust, not like the large-stranded tea that my daughter has over there. I thought that this would be a similar texture.. I'm on the trail of 'proper', old-fashioned, long-stranded tea, so shan't buy this one again. Somebody else might love it!

Not at all what we expected having been a long time Dilmah fans. Looked more like dust than tea and no familiar flavour.

The packet describes premium tea and not BOPF (Broken Orange Peko Fanning's) Am therefore unsure if I have what was ordered. If the tea content is BOPF I am satisfied and the rating would be increased to four stars
