Large Traditional Wooden Deluxe Weaving Loom With Accessories Childrens Craft Toy

Bought for a crafty 7 yr old, our 12 yr old wants one too. We had a plastic one once which broke after only minimal use. This is a proper weaving tool which can make both small and quite large items. Takes about 15 minutes to set up before use and 7 yr old will need supervision to get best results but it will last for years unlike the brightly coloured plastic ones. Very little wool supplied - you will need lots more.

No instructions with this loom, but if you look for a YouTube video for Webrahmen Frame Loom [...] it gives clear instructions on how to warp the loom. The loom itself is well made and has Welbrahmen on the packaging. There are videos in German, but this one had no commentary so was easy to follow.

Just came in a brown box, no instructions or pictures of what it was or how to use it, for a child to open on Christmas day it would be disappointing and perplexing. Pity the manufacturers do not run to a simple presentation box, with a picture on the front and some simple instructions and perhaps ideas of what to make. Yet to put it to work, quality seems good, but a wasted opportunity to give some presentation.

I'm new to weaving & this is a great bit of kit to learn on. It is a robust frame and the heddle functions well. Although the loom is probably a bit basic it's ideal for learning the ropes. Despite the lack of instructions it is a fairly simple task to set the warp which I mastered in under 15 minutes. It took a lot longer to draw up a design to weave but creativity isn't included in the box either.I think of this as money well spent

This loom is worth 10 times what I was charged for here at Amazon!It is an excellent loom, VERY sturdy - clearly made of quality wood. The loom is very easy to warp and it has stood up to a lot of use including one of our young children and their wee friend while sitting on the floor of a rocky ferry boat! I've lugged this loom hither and yon and now I am buying one for each of our children. 10 stars!!

Easy enough to set up but I would prefer it to come with instructions on how to use the loom (just something basic). I have never used a loom before but I am enjoying it and can always refer to YouTube for tips.

This is actually a great loom at a great price, yes - it comes with no instructions, but there is plenty of in-depth tutorial videos on You Tube - the wove spaces are not as close as I was looking for but work well for chunky yarns - you just need: a comb - (plastic folk with do!) a knit needle and a shed stick - (chunky knitting needle will do) some yarn and your good to go!

Solid enough construction, but it really could do with some instructions on how to thread the warp - or is that warp the thread? Whichever, it isn't included, anyway.Just a simple sheet of paper with some basic instructions to get you started would be great.
