Is the straw made so it wont rise or come out of the cup?

The top comes with a clip inside that's attached to hold the straw in place, it won't move at all unless you move it

How do i get the handle to stay on ?

I didn't have a problem with my handle, I didn't attempt to remove it, maybe that is whay?
