My carbon fibre golf trolley gets very muddy in winter, and washing it with ordinary washing-up liquid always left it looking dull. Muc-Off makes a huge difference — it cuts through the dirt easily and brings back a proper shine. It works just as well on bikes too. The photos show a clear comparison: the left-hand side cleaned with soap and water looks flat, while the right-hand side cleaned with Muc-Off is noticeably shinier. A really effective product.

Bought this to keep my HD Sportster clean. First couple of uses and I got through over half a bottle of the unconcentrated stuff by spraying on then rinsing off which didn't seem very economical. Seems to go further by spraying a little less and washing the bike with a mitt. Either way it gave a nice clean finish. Concentrate is a good way to go so long as you have the original spray bottle.

Muc-off works, it just does. It's not a cleverly marketed bottle of washing up fluid or anything like that - it's a genuinely useful product. Apparently it's a very alkaline substance which breaks down the surface tension 'cling' effect of anything trying to hold onto your bike frame etc. In practice this means that if you spray it onto your bike, leave it 5 minutes and then hose it using a normal garden hose, pretty much all the mud and grime on it will fall away all by itself. It's quite magical. A quick wipe over with a cloth and a final hose and your bike is good to go. You can spray this stuff on anything too, including brake pads. This little pack makes up 2 litres of spray which is good value. 2L like this will probably last me 20 bike cleans, something like that. Depends how much you use obviously.I also use mine to clean the brake dust off my car wheels, and it works well for that too!

This stuff works! As a keen recreational cyclist with three bikes and my wife two, I am often cleaning dirty bikes. Not wanting to keep using nasty harsh aerosol degreasers that are bad for the environment and leave a mess on the driveway, I have tried a number of biodegradable enviro-friendly cleaners - that to be honest just do not work properly. The Muc-Off Bike Cleaner does - including oily drive chains and thick muddy MTB's... just spray on and leave for 5min - then wash off with a garden hose - no need for a high pressure cleaner. Not cheap - but you'll get plenty of cleans out of this concentrate... and it works.
