Feet Savers
These inserts are saving my feet! I am a full figured lady, pushing close to 300 pounds, and I am in need of really good support. I stand all day at work (I work in a hospital so I'm basically standing on concrete) and I really don't sit down. I wear New Balance for shoes; took out their insert, put these in and added a thick rubber insert on top and I am good to pound pavement all day! You definitely need a thick rubber insole to top it off if you want comfort, I don't think anyone could wear these alone as they are very hard almost like plastic but that's part of why they work so well! They don't lose their support! I will agree with other readers that this insert combined with a thick rubber insert will make less room in your shoes so make sure you have good depth in the ones you plan on using as well as making sure you can remove the factory insert (some stitch them or glue them in). The springs definitely reduce the shock of impact on your feet. I will use these inserts for life as long as they keep making them, I'm sure after some time you will need to purchase another pair but these have been going strong with no signs of wear for over a month now. I have seen a podiatrist and I have been told I have falling arches as well as over pronating. He told me orthotics aren't covered by most insurances and that they would be expensive so that wasn't an option for me financially. I'm one of those people that will spend hours reading reviews and doing research on products because "I work hard for my money!" Hope this review helps and best of luck!

Hard, Noisy, Left Foot Different
I tried these insoles in two different pairs of athletic shoes and wore them to Zumba. My initial concern was that the heel was too thick and I'd dance out of my shoes. So since there was a sale I purchased a second pair of the same shoes in a half size larger, and the felt 80% confident that this solved that problem.Front Foot Pad:The cushion in the front of the left insole was harder and more prominent and has different placement than the right foot insole. The pad sits right under the pad of my foot, which made it annoying and uncomfortable. The heel of the left insole also seems more compact than the right insole. So the left doesn't have the same cushion or bounce as the right. I'm assuming I got a good right foot insole and a defective left.Insole Makes Noise:If you haven't been compressing the insole with your weight for a while, the heel on the right foot insole makes a kind of farting noise if you lift and lower your heel.Arch support:I don't feel any support under my arches, but when I look at the insole I see there is arch support in the right place, and unlike with the insoles that come native to most shoes, there is cushioning material under the bump. I don't feel any pain in my arches during Zumba,Overall:I think I got a defective insole. Unfortunately I don't think I can return them or exchange the insoles after working out in them. I would NOT repurchase or recommend these because at this price point it's an expensive mistake to make if I'm wrong.

Pleasantly Surprised
These felt very good to me in my winter boots and I have problems from my heel t the end of my big toes. I didn't notice any "springiness" but definitely less jarring at the heels. I have to get cortisone injections in the balls of my feet every six months. I did notice that they didn't feel quite as padded as the ones I bought from my foot doctor. Don't take that as your final word though. In boots instead of sneakers I might have felt a bit of fore foot pain with them or any other insole but it still brought the pain level down. There are a couple of other brands in this price range that I have tried and I absolutely cannot wear them in a boot or even sneakers except for short jaunts. Therefore if you have good feet, you should love these and if your problems are minor, this may help them. Otherwise, find a good podiatrist and get a diagnosis FIRST. Then resign yourself to paying $30-$40 for insoles with good arch support and padding. Then start wearing $$$ running shoes when possible. You may save yourself from surgery or custom orthotics later.

Nice but they tend to run on the large side
I can see that these would be very nice for anyone needing good support or comfort for those long days on your feet. They run quite big. I bought a medium, women's size 8, and had to cut approximately 1 1/2" off. I have plantar fasciitis, extreme pain, chronic (every blessed day since July 2014) and I have these in a pair of shoes I will wear on weekend around the house. I am not sure they will be the answer long term but they do feel quite nice at this time!

Like others have said
Not a big deal. I have ordered just some memory foam ones for work. Like others have said, they are a bit hard, but are okay for just casual wear. Would not wear them all day every day.

Great idea, would be great for tennis players is ...
Needs to be less stiff. Possible to use polyurethane base with same springs. So stiff it gave me a backache. Great idea, would be great for tennis players is a more flexible base.

I had higher expectations for this product. I don't think it makes much difference from any standard insert. Just being honest.

These aren't comfortable for me. A friend with the same size feet tried too & they hurt. The springs are not a good idea.OK I see 0 of 1 found the review useful. Let me clarify... these hurt your feet ! Let me direct you to Powerstep.
