Nice toaster arrived the next day. One slight design flaw the bread doesn't cook at the ends. I will say apart from that it is a very nice toaster

This is a great idea let down by lack of heating elements. The toaster has one heating element on each side. It desperately needs two per side to enable it to toast stuff properly. Some sliced breads toast ok first time but only on the highest setting. As for crumpets - it merely dries them out. I've been using it for a while now before writing this review so that I can determine its good and bad points.The Good:The side access is a good ideaCrumbs can be cleaned away easilyLooks stylishThe Bad:Toasted sliced bread has white untoasted lines across themDoesn't toast properly as it is severely underpoweredUpdate: Now on the lookout for a different toaster. This was a waste of money.

I really like this toaster as it is SO easy to use. You can toast smaller slices of bread, crumpets, pancakes etc without having to dig them out of a conventional toaster. Also, because of the design, there are no crumbs accumulating at the the bottom which have to be cleaned periodically from a normal toaster. It was quite expensive but definitely worth the money as it also looks very chic in my kitchen.

I've only had it for 3days so there isn't a lot to say yet,but I will give my opinion up to now.l toasted tea cake ,happy with the result,then 3 small slices of frozen bread not pleased with the result ,top of slice not toasted .I then toasted2 normal size whole meal ,top of bread partially tosted 2/3rds ok I need more time to give a final verdict as I like the design, size and concept of this toaster .i think the price is high.

I have knocked off 1 star coz it really is over priced and another star for varies design faults. I should really send it back but it does appear to toast everything I have thrown at it, bread, crumpets, sausage rolls, toasted sandwiches so far. Obviously takes a little experimenting with timing as with a normal toaster to begin with.Note: I have found that the controls do no work as suggested in the manual. Be aware that you will need more room on the worktop compared to a conventional toaster.Also what I would say are design faults are - The left side is exposed to the heating elements an care must be taken not to place it close to anything inflammable or indeed small children could put fingers or hand in it, should be shielded. I think it would benefit from a folding stand at the end of the toasting rack rather than it just falling down to the worktop when opened. Some tongs could have been included as some thing are awkward to get out without burning yourself on the food containing wires.Hope this help anyone contemplating purchasing one of these. Jeff.

No more poking about with a fork for smaller size slices of bread, no getting thicker bread stuck, no more shaking the toaster upside down or poking a bottle brush in to get rid of crumbs. Love the control this gives me - whatever bread I want to toast, it fits and toasts perfectly. Easy to clean, I can just slide the whole thing out and wipe it clean. Very happy with this purchase.

looks pretty. disappointed for toast have to have it on top setting and then still pale after time allowed. browing in centre of toast only. good for slices of garlic bread. would not buy again or recommend. expensive

LOVE THIS TOASTER. SO QUICK TO MAKE A CHEESE TOASTIE ETC. NO MESS AND VERY EASY TO USE. IT SURELY IS THE NEXT GENERATION OF TOASTERS. CLEANING IS A DODDLE. NO MORE HAVING TO SHAKE ALL THE CRUMBS OUT OF THE WORKINGS, JUST A DAMP CLOTH WILL REMOVE ANY CRUMBS LEFT. BRILLIANT PURCHASE.
