From my research after receiving the item, it has had the same problems for months and they have not been fixed. All icons dissappear off the app leaving it useless. You can only text and call through the app. It also randomly told me my child was running down the motorway whilst he was sat next to me. The only way to get the app to work again is to unpair and re pair the watch. And then re add all your settings and contacts. Not to mention the over priced tariff for what you get. Item has immediately been returned

Bought this for my 10 year old, who had been going on about getting an Apple Watch.Considering that a 10 year old doesn't need a watch costing over £200, this is a an amazing alternative at a fraction of the price. This one by Moochies does everything we we were hoping for, namely voice calling, video calling, and GPS tracking (one of the reasons we wanted one is for safety, as my daughter has only recently started walking home from school alone. This gives us a bit of reassurance that we know exactly where she is, and there's also an 'alert mode' which means she can press a button to let us know if she feels in danger (thankfully not had to use that function yet! :-)I'm a complete technophobe, so am always worried when buying new gadgets, as it usually takes me ages to set it up or to understand what each thing is capable of. This was VERY EASY to set up and get going (it arrives partly charged, so you can begin set up quickly. Once we'd registered it and set up a pay as you go plan, it was ready to use properly within about 1.5 hours. Very simple functions, easy to use for both me and my daughter. She got the hang of it right away. I liked the option of being able to control how others can contact her - eg you can control what kind of contact people have by allowing them to either only do voice calls, or allow them to be able to video call also - this is dictated and controlled by the parent.Also like the fact that there are no games or social media accessible on the watch, which is a big plus for us.Would definitely recommend as a first smart watch, if you want the features of a phone too, without having to buy a phone.

I don’t right reviews and never negative ones but my experience of this device, its functionality and access to Moochies customer services has been terrible.As a summary:1. Device location accuracy is completely inaccurate. The location address it gives on my app is not where my child is located2. The app is clunky and throws you out of views every time I use it3. When either audio or video calling, you have a max 5mins before it automatically cuts you off/hangs up, regardless of whether you pay for an unplanned and may not use this feature. It is not clear if the feature can be altered4. Any help sections of the websites or socials do not answer a lot of questions and it ask you to go to their Chat function, FB, IG or website… which all lead to an email address, as you can’t speak with customer services any other way, which is very misleading5. To slides the screen from left to right, to access the apps on the watch, is intermittent and slow or does not work, no matter how many times you swipe6. Regardless of whether you or the watch have a good signal, the connectivity during video/audio calls is terrible7. When on a video call, the screen on your mobile times out/goes dark whilst you’re on the call, so you have to keep tapping the screen to keep it engaged8. Due to point number 7, this may be because you only make/receive the call through the app. This is normal for many (well working) apps like WhatsApp for example however, not so much for Moochies9. On the watch, when in settings, if you need to select ‘OK’ or whatever the option may be, the wording and button/link is so small (even for children’s fingers), it’s really hard to select it10. I could go on. For the money per device, the cost per month of a subscription and the functionality, you can buy a refurbished Apple Watch, with a warranty, link it to your own phone and it would have all the same functionalities… for less… and it would work.

I bought this for my 9 year old just to allow her to keep in contact when she’s at friends or at dance classes etc until we feel she’s ready for a phone.It works well for calls and messages and the sound quality was surprisingly good. Its a little bulky but bearing in mind they’ve fitted a phone into the size of a watch it’s only to expected.The negatives- if you are using this for gps tracking, don’t bother. In the space of a few hours my daughter apparently travelled between home, Hong Kong, Dubai, Australia and Japan! I also think the monthly SIM cost is excessive at £10 for the cheapest option. Most big mobile providers offer much cheaper sims with more data so could be cheaper.

Easy to set up and easy for kids to use. Does what it says. Great value for money.Bought for my 9 year old son as he has just recently started playing out. He normally hates wearing a watch, however no complaints about wearing this.

The battery did not charge for long. The charger is broken, the GPS is hugely inaccurate and the phone does not connect well at all.

Bought this for my 7 years old son Birthday.Great quality and stylish look. I love the feature of the GPS that will put my mind in rest when visiting the playground and my son want to be independent. Voice and video calls are favourites features for my son as he call granny on his own. He worn it all the time even in a shower too as it is water proof. My son is so proud having a watch like a Daddy. Great value for money and i have so happy kid. Highly recommending if you want to keep in touch with your kid, but not keen to give a phone at this early age yet.

You have to sign up to Moochies own mobile service as it has a pre-installed SIM card you can't change. Battery life is horrible, the UI is like something designed in 1995.
