If you can train your dog to go on the "pee grass", you'll be set. My senior started needing this as she got older and I put a wee-wee pad under grass, on top of plastic tray. She goes right on it every time. It's a great size (about the size of a doormat) and nice and thick fake grass. Easy to clean, just use hose on all pieces and let dry. I recommend this kit highly.

If I had left my review on Week 2, I'd have given it five stars, but after 4 weeks of usage it started to smell and although I clean it daily the smell won't go away.Pros: my 3-month-old puppy picked up pretty quick and has been using it successfully (7 out of 10 times). It's a good quality product and overall it does the job if your dog isn't too large and female.Cons: The grass area is not large enough: my 6-year-old pomeranian tried it, but being a male, did not manage to aim properly.We live in an apartment and that thing is hard to clean in a bathtub.After several weeks, the smell is awful. I've tried to let it sit in white vinegar, but it still smells.Conclusion: if you have a small female puppy, this will do the trick. If it's a male, you may have to clean walls and floors around it every time. If you don't plan to use it for too long and if you have enough space to clean it thoroughly daily, it should be fine.

I love this potty pad station! My rescue Beagle loves it and will use it if she has to go in the middle of the night or if it’s too cold out -30! It keeps things clean and tighty. I put a potty pad sheet in between the grass and pan so I only have to remove the pad and replace it with a fresh one. I wash the grass out when it begins to stink in the laundry tub. My neighbor got a new puppy so I bought one for her. Now her kitchen floor isn’t full of poop and pee!

We bought this as a backup when bad weather hits our area. Great to potty train. Size is just right as it is large snout for my dog to go potty but yet small enough to not be an eye sore. Also easy to clean.

This doesn't work for my large dog. 60 lbs. I bought the large size and it isn't big enough for him. He won't step on it. He's old and has mobility issues and he has no chance. (Even the large is too small.) He has peed next to it multiple times now (never once on) meaning that one in addition to cleaning the floor, I also have to clean the bottom of this pad and deal with it dripping all over the place in the process. Marketing it for large dogs is unfair.

I bought this to put on my porch during inclement weather. I only use it if my Cavalier King Charles refuses to go downstairs to the backyard during a bad snowstorm. It didn't take long to train her (I put a tiny bit of puppy yellow snow on the grass). It does need to be cleaned frequently as the grass retains a urine smell if not. It is also the right size for my Cavalier so I'm not sure how it would work for a larger dog.

It works great for a little while. They say that the grass doesn't retain the urine smell but it most definitely does after several uses.You most definitely have to clean it every time your pet uses it. It's not meant for multiple uses which makes it an extreme pain and is pretty disgusting to clean since you literally have to touch their piss in order to clean it. There is a barrier that separates the grass from the bottom of the tray where the pee is contained but if your dog is medium to large (40+ lbs) then the grass gets pressed down into the piss reservoir soaking your dog's feet.My dog would also lay on it when I let her outside and of course her while stomach is now soaked in her piss.It didn't work out for me at all but it may work for you. If you have a large dog I wouldn't recommend this at all.

1 of my 3 dogs uses it every time now! the other 2 aren't really the best at going to the toilet in the house anyways so was hoping this would help them learn but they don't seem interested :/ However that isn't the products fault it has been awesome to work with, easy to clean, low profile and great quality.It might be a hit or a miss with your dogs but for the price it is definitely worth trying, GREAT PRODUCT!
