Grandad's Book Of Crosswords: 100 novelty crossword puzzles

I'm really pleased with this puzzle book, I bought one for Grandad and one for Nanny, the puzzles in both books are the same but actually this will no doubt lead to some healthy competition between the pair of them. If it results in any outbreaks of domestic violence I may amend my review so watch this space. The book is slightly larger than it looks online, but this is a good thing as the puzzles stand out and there is plenty of room in which to write the answers, unlike some books where the writing space is smaller than the inside of a gnat's underpants. I had no idea that there were so many different types of crossword puzzle - standard, skeleton, anagram, vowelless, pangram, jigsaw, the list goes on. It can't be easy coming up with all this content so hats off to the people named inside the cover - Dan Moore and Amy Smith for coming up with such a beautifully designed compilation. I'd buy you both a pint if I could.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who says it's a perfect way to unwind without falling asleep. Good value with dozens of different crossword puzzles. He likes it; I'm happy.

Please be aware that the content of this Puzzle Book is exactly the same as the Dad's Crossword Puzzle Book and the Grandfather's Puzzle Book. I don't know why, but this should be made clear by the Publisher. Other than that I thought the Puzzles are varied and challenging.

Not a scratch on it perfect condition, arrived on time. My grandads going to love it.

My grandad loved it and it was bigger than I expected so even better :) It also was delivered really quickly around christmas time. And the deal ment that you might aswell get two for the same price as one and paying for delivery.

Book was really good. It was a present and he loves filling them in. However packaged in a soft box and courier left in the garden in the rain so pages got some water damage

Having enjoyed doing Nana's puzzle book I purchased Grandad's Book of Puzzles only to discover it's the same book in a different cover. Publisher sympathetic but no apology and certainly no compensation. Poor show.
