Excellent gage. Just don’t forget you have it in your laptop bag when you go thru airport security. The X-ray definitely found it. They were not happy.

I don't measure bored holes very often (other reviewers have commented on the difficulties and the 'fix' for using this tool for that purpose. I use the taper gage on a daily basis to determine whether the fit-up of an assembly is within specified tolerances before it is welded. The tool is perfect for this purpose! The only downside is that, after about a year of use, the black markings have begun to fade. I need to find a reliable way to bring those markings back to their factory-fresh high-contrast condition.

I am a CWI bought this for checking root gaps. This is accurate and is well built. I’d def buy this one again if I lost mine, which I probably will. It’d be nice if it came with a sleeve though, but that’s not a deal breaker.

These are well-built taper gauges. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because the tips were bent into a J shape when I received them. I had to be careful to bend them back into a point.

Good value for money. But the best part is I think from the time I placed the order until the time I received the product was about 12 hours. How amazing is this.

Perfect for measuring gaps

It says that it can measure starting 1mm, wrong! The thickness of the material is 2.15mm so you can't begin to measure past that. Also I drilled some holes in plastics in my drill press and measured them using this device, and the measurements were constantly under by about .5mm. Please don't waste your money and use a regular digital caliper.
