I rate this as a 5* product. It looks good in the kitchen, is easy to clean and so easy to use. The only tiny niggle is that on occasions the on/zero button catches on the surround and needs to be pressed again to release it. I initially went onto Amazon to look for a set of metric weights to go with the imperial ones that I use on my old balance scales, but they were so expensive that buying this scale cost about half the price of the set of weights. So a bargain on top of everything else that I like about it! I recommend this product to anyone wanting a neat, reliable, versatile scale.

I bought these scales to replace a different Salters scale. Mechanically there was nothing wrong with the previous ones but they were a case of form over function. Anything bigger than a side plate and you couldn't easily read the screen.These are a really practical size, they have a 20 cm weighing plate. The measurement range is really useful and they appear to be solidly built. Salters are confident with their product giving a 15 year warranty.

This product is great for its intended purpose, weighing baking products. My daughter uses it to weigh her mail when selling things on eBay. It’s a very useful kitchen gadget. Very pleasing to the eye, when it comes to storage it doesn’t take up too much space which is a huge bonus I think. The only little snag I’ve found is that one of the buttons can stick in its socket a bit if your not careful, however this is easily fixed. I love the fact you can use any bowl or plate on the scale to measure into too.

I would give this five stars as it works perfectly, but had to return the first item as it was weighing completely wrong, and it wasn't until I'd had some really weird cooking results that I realized. I've never returned anything to Amazon before, but was really pleased with the hassle free procedure and the replacement arrived very promptly.

Purchased these scales as I needed more capacity than my last set of scales. Out of the box the scales look good and well designed. When using the scales, the display is clear and easy to read and the large platform means that the scale can easily cope with large bowls. Once finished, the scales are easy to clean but.......there are a few problems. Firstly, you can only weigh in 2 g amounts. Whilst I knew about this before, and thought that it wouldn't be an issue, it can be annoying, especially when weighing small amounts. Also, I've found when using the scales, that the zero button sometimes sticks and needs to be pressed again for it to work.

These scales are to be recommended. They are accurate and easy to use. Weight can be displayed in grams or ounces. They are easy to clean. Battery lasts. Good clear display.

- Cannot use for accurate weighing. Will only weigh to every 2g/ 2ml.- On button gets stuck.- It stalls and the only way to reset it is to take the battery out - for which you need a screwdriver to open the access panel.- It's slow to react. So pouring anything requires a super slow pour, stop and a wait time for the scales to catch up.- The dashboard is also part of the scales so you have to ensure it has its own personal space or or weighs even a finger tip (barely) touching the side of the front.Overall not accurate and not functional.

My daughter wanted some digital scales and after looking at many chose these for her. They are brilliant. Easy to use and weigh everything solids and liquids. Easy to store being small and slim but very capable of heavy weights. A brilliant buy and can thoroughly recommend them.

This thing has completely fallen apart after 4 months of normal use. It is now literally a piece of garbage.Also - when it did work - it only measures in even numbers and is slow to register weight, so you always end up addibg too much of anything you are trying to weigh.

Prodotto ottimo da usare per le più diverse misurazioni con uno scarto della precisione di appena qualche grammo. Apparecchio che si presenta abbastanza robusto e facilmente utilizzabile. Très bonne balance. Un seul regret: l'affichage n'est pas rétroéclairé. Sinon le p!gâteau est de très bonnes dimensions et il est très bien que l'affichage ne puisse pas être en contact avec ce que l'on précompte sur certaines balances
