The bottle's sprayer is not really practical for the gel-like density, so I poured the product into a clean peanut butter jar and applied by brush to my patio furniture covers to restore water resistance. It saved me a boatload of money over replacing all the covers. I thoroughly cleaned the covers before painting on the product, twice, and am very pleased with the outcome.

Well it says to use in well ventilated area, I did apply it outside, left the chairs outside for couple days, then they stay in the garage. Even a week later putting the chairs in the car to take them to soccer game, the smell was so strong we had to have the windows down. Took about a month before the odor from this stuff subsided.Other than that, it does work, water just beaded up and rolled off. Has been 2 years since I sprayed the chairs, and they are starting to absorb water again. So as with any spray on, this is just temporary. This stuff was a bit pricey, even for 2 years of use.

Rustoleum Fabric water repellent works great and lasts for months in direct sunlight and regular rain. We used on large outdoor patio Umbrellas that were not manufactured to be waterproof. Rustoleum product made umbrella waterproof and the rain beads and runs off rapidly. It lasts for many hours of use weekly and we only reapply every couple years to keep repellent. It never stopped working. Make sure to wear breathing and eye protection as the product has very strong vapors, do not apply indoors or in windy conditions Highly Recommended

This is my 2nd time buying this product. While it works well, the bottle is far too small for the price. I was able to BARELY cover 4 throw pillows for outdoor use. And I did a super skimp application. What they say about the coverage is a complete fallacy. You may get 15 feet covered if that and I'm afraid of how well it'll work based on how little I was able to apply in order to cover all 6 pillows. I'm going to try the scotch brand and see where that gets me.

Product was ready to use, covered outdoor cushions well & repelled rain..since purchase I cannot reorder it

I needed a product to protect my feet from the weather when I officiate. I spray it on all of my running shoes and cleats that I use when I officiate soccer and football. Love this stuff. Shoes stay breathable and dry inside. I soak them down really well, let it dry and you are good for the life of the shoe.

I give it 4 stars instead of 5 cause it could work a little better ... it works but it isn't perfect... I think I will need to spay the object at least 3 times... I have only done 2 times so far... but I do like it and would buy again!

This is a great product. I live in AB, Canada. We can get some mighty good downpours of rain. I use this product to waterproof art to hang outside on the fence. I’ve had pieces outside, during our summer months, for years without any problem. My last bottle leaked in transit (in 38 degree Celsius) weather but Amazon corrected the problem for me without any hassle. It is expensive, the only downside I experience.

Applied on my Regatta softshell jacket, repell's water perfectly.

I was able to spray 2 coats on 4 pairs of shoes with still lots in the bottle. Works great. Don't worry about the smell, it does go away once it dries. Great for a rainy climate like mine.
