It's exceptionally light weight material, but it's compact and expands to a useful bag when needed. I wouldn't use it for heavy carrying, but great for tossing in a sweatshirt, water bottle, and the stuff..

This is a light weight comfortable backpack. Every pocket is well thought out. Its a versatile backpack! Definitely recommend.

It’s super light weight and not ridged. Didn’t think I would care for it too much when I opened the package but I enjoy how light it is. I use packing cubes so I was able to stuff 4 days of cloths. It’s nice being able to roll it up inside its own pocket and store it until the next trip. Used it on several day trips to Bush Gardens as well . Worked great. Would have been nice to come with a water proof cover but I won’t hold it against it. Recommend.

Been on two trips with the pack. Fairly roomy for what it is. No padding in laptop area, or back , or on straps. Over time the straps will dig into your shoulders. No ripping or tearing yet.

I used this today for the first time during a N GA short day hike. Looking to buy a second one for the Mrs. It can for up into itself for storage and perhaps packing, but when it's unfolded it can handle quite a bit of necessary items - rain jacket, hiking pole attachments, deep water bottle pockets for me 22oz thermoflask, and little pockets for other stuff. It's comfortable too with the side cinch straps.

I was looking for a light but sturdy pack. This hit the sweet spot for me. My only reservation is that the zips feel a bit less substantial than I'd like, but I guess it's hard to have lightness and sturdyness in one product.

Handy to have when traveling as you can pack it in your regular suitcase and use it to carry a jacket and other belongings to carry while you are out and about, have even used for 2-night trip out of town. Straps lack padding, so caring, heavy weight for a long time would not be recommended.
