These incense sticks came very well packaged and contained a lovely letter from the company's founder. I was very moved by her story and the work she is doing to help women in India, but let's face it, the product also has to be good to earn return customers, and she clearly understands this because her product is wonderful. So far, I have tried three (the white sage, lavender, and patchouli mint), and they are each fantastic. I think the patchouli mint may be my favorite because I've never even heard of this combination, but it's marvelous! The mint adds that light, crispness to the deep, darkness of the patchouli and makes for a marvelous scent. The white sage and lavender are also great. They are relatively long-burning (light well, stay burning all the way to the end, ash stays in place and doesn't drop all over the place as some incenses do) and great a wonderful scent. I was drawn in by the founder's story and the emphasis on helping rural women, and I will buy again because the product is just that good.

I am not always write a review, but this is special.Recently I am discovering natural incense stick to comfort and keep me relax, who doesn't like to having beauty scents through the house without harmful chemicals? I had tried different brand before and nothing like this catch my heart on my very first try. Their scent is so clean and pure and burn well without messy, there is no burned wood smell during or afterwards, a note from the founder tell the culture of the brand so to make me appreciated too. If you are incense lover you will not disappointed on their incense.P.S. I have ordered much more on their full size packs.

As soon as I lit the incense, my housemate said, "Ooh that smells good!" I first lit the Indian Sandal, a scent I am not familiar with. It does smell very good, and I am happy with the purchase. I also appreciated the founder including a written letter about what he inspired him to start the company, which was after he experienced burnout and anxiety. I experienced that recently as well and wanted incense scents to help me. In the letter, the founder also mentioned that the incense is made by a rural self-help group in India. I like that. So, all the way around, it's some help for me and society. Thank you for making this.

We bought mini incense over the years from various suppliers and stores and shops, but these are by far the best in our opinion. The one thing I will say is that we bought an AIR DOCTOR air purifier last year, and these are one of the very few incense we’ve purchased that do not set it off. To me that says something.

Nothing was good bout it. No smell just smoke. Terrible product

Calmveda is a cut above your average incense. It is charcoal free and smells so clean and pure. It comes with a beautiful story about the temple flowers that it is made from and the women in India who made it. There is something sacred about this unique incense. Order it with confidence. I love it.

I bought these incense sticks based on the positive Amazon reviews. I’ve been desperately searching for sticks that are non-toxic and have a pleasant smell.I bought the variety pack. I’ve only tried three of the fragrances so far (rose, lavender and white sage). This is my opinion:1) When you light them there is a small flame that is bigger than what I normally see when lighting incense. I have concerns if you’re not too careful you could easily catch something on fire as the flame is also hard to blow out… it takes a few tries. Maybe it’s this way because I am lighting the stick upside down to put in an incense holder that hangs upside down.2) There are some nice fragrances but there still seems to linger a smoky (coal like) smell as an undertone.3) The lavender started to burn with a nice scent but halfway it smelled something similar to a wet dog… I actually had to inspect my dogs to see if they were the ones smelling. It may have been that I needed to remove the previous ashes from the incense stand and it was maybe interacting with the other burned incense ashes but as soon as I smelled it I removed the stick and used a different brand and the smell went away.4) These are potent scents. I have a small two story home and the scent easily travels upstairs5) I use an incense stand that burns upside down and so I would say the sticks burn for 20-30 min. Might burn longer if it’s not hanging.I think maybe some quality control with the incense may help (ie flaming and scent). So far I really like the rose scent but it’s possible I’m too sensitive to fragrances and I am picking up more of a coal scent than most but I do know there are other brands that burn a lot more cleaner than these. I was hoping to find an incense brand on Amazon that doesn’t require me to open my windows after burning but these aren’t it. There are brands far worse than these though in terms of scent and coal smell. You might find these pleasant to burn outside of your home though.

I want to burn incense, but didn’t want any toxic chemicals. This set of 5 was just what I was looking for. The scent is wonderful.
