Was a snap to install

Complete kit for LED taillight Broncos. Watched install video online. Followed it step by step and works great. Only thing I would recommend is get a pack of zip ties.

Does what it’s meant to do, just wiring configuration could be better and longer wires needed

It’s not difficult to install, just look at the videos others have made. If you’re handy with things this will save you a lot vs paying someone to do it. It works as it’s supposed to. It is a pain crawling around under the car if you don’t have a lift to run the wiring…one time to see where to run it, a second time to actually run the wire and then another time to go through and tie it off. Though someone else could probably do it all at once.

Curt makes 2 different harnesses depending on your bronco light package. I have a black diamond and do not have the rear LED lights. As such I bought the wrong harness. Unfortunately I already had everything torn apart so I just pulled the brand new harness apart and adjusted the pin orientation to work with my model. Don’t do what I did, order the correct part.

Make sure you order the right kit based on LED vs Halogen tail lights. I headed others warnings and got the right one. Install was easy enough, still took a couple of hours just making sure everything looked good and works didn't get tore up.

I purchased and installed the Curt brand trailer hitch and was so pleased with the quality I decided to buy the lighting package as well. After the install that went relatively smoothly (Curt's instructions were not the best and were missing some important steps), I took it to Uhaul to rent a trailer. They tested the lights and found that the left turn signal activated both lights at the same time and the right signal didn't work at all. I had two separate Uhaul technicians look at it and both said it was installed correctly. Finally I found on the internet an individual who had the same problem and it required rewiring the pins in the harnesses. I tried his technique but was unable to get the pins to back out. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed since I was needing to haul some belongings that day. It is shocking to me that Curt would allow this product to be sold, especially knowing all the work that goes into the install only to have it fail and have to uninstall it. There were several individuals with the same problem online who were unable to find a solution as well and they said Curt told them they were aware of the problem and were trying to come up with a solution.
