This bag is real leather (goat leather, I think), and has natural variations in texture but the color is consistent. Its a very thin leather, but I find it to be well-stitched, and the retractable handles are a nice design feature. My only criticism would be that full size 8-1/2" wide letter size memo pad just barely will not fit in the memo pad sleeve, maybe it was designed for A4 paper (8.27").

Terrible misrepresentation in images of what the product looks like in person. I’ve written a review twice now. First one was rejected by Amazon. Poor quality. Powdery feel. Not the color shown. I’d give this zero stars for product and experience with purchase.

Pocket for a pad of paper is very tight and it's difficult to get the paper pad of paper in/out of the pocket. The zipper is also gummy. It's very pretty leather. An iPhone 6 plus fits in the pocket, but it's a tight fit.

Good quality. Great look. Has a new product smell that I am hoping will dissipate.

Received as a gift for Christmas. Such a soft.feeling leather. Beautiful color. Helpful handle that adds to hands free. Multiple pockets and envelopes inside . And zipper dividers and zipper closure. Love this brief case. I refuse to allow it to get wet. So far it looks as beautiful as the day I opened my gift.

Great product! Leather is soft and genuine goat hide. All components work well and it looks sophisticated and professional for both men and women alike.

Quality is very good, however, the color is way off! I ordered "brown" and got a very light tan, nothing like the picture. It is more than a variation in the leather. Variations are small flaws or subtle color changes. This is just the wrong color.

je suis très contente de l'apparence. On dirait un produit artisanal. Cependant, les coutures sont un peu irrégulières ce qui, esthétiquement n'est pas choquant, mais à l'utilisation pose la question de la solidité... le compartiment où sont destinés les documents est un peu étroit...les feuilles ont du mal à glisser. à voir avec le temps mais pour le moment je suis ravie!

Absolutely terrible. Not even worth one star. The item is poorly manufactured: leather and paper. It is not worth the money. I rue the day that I purchased this item. I will not use it; I will send it directly to the Good Will people and they can sell it for $2.99 CAD!

Looks great, but smelled a bit funky for a long time.
