Easy to install on my camper awning and works good so far!

Like others have stated the bolt to hold this on is 6mm instead of 1/4-20. Currently it works both directions and no need to extend the wire. I will try to update if it dies on me anytime soon.

I bought this motor last year. When I first put it on, it worked with no problems.About 3 more trips with my camper it stopped working every time. I would have to help it start moving by manually turning it and it would work again.Didn’t think much of it once the season was over. But I uncovered the camper this year. And tried to use the awning, and all the motor does is click. Won’t work at all. I know there’s electricity going to it because I can hear it click but the motor will not turn.

This thing works! It is an exact replacement for a Dometic 91000 series awning. It installs simply and easily. Can't speak to longevity since I just installed it but it is priced so low that I could replace this once a year and still not pay what I would have paid at the RV dealers for 5 years! Study the online videos on how to do it (about an hour job) and save yourself a bundle!

The motor works well and fit properly other than the wires were 1/2 inch too short for my 2005 Dometic 9100 and the threads for the bolt that attaches motor to the top of the arm is 6mm rather than the original equipment 1/4 - 20 Fortunately I had what was needed to extend the wires and a 6mm bolt on hand
