Opening could have been made better with pull string or something to designate open here. Easy slip on. Not flimsy where dirt and other stuff still got on foot - good protection. It is durable as disposable. I can climb the hill with it and not to torn it apart or finding any loss thread at the end of day. The padding is no way close to the sport footwear but it is better than what I expected. It is meant to be disposable, so the thread counts are low and you can see skin behind the threads when you stretch it.

First thing first - these are not compression socks unless you have really, really big feet (then they're just too small). I wear 10.5-11 in women's shoes and have more than enough wiggle room. My husband wears a 10.5 EEEE and he can get these on too. They truly are made for almost any size foot. Are the luxurious? Hard no. Useful? Yes. I don't think I'd want to wear these for the rest of my life. I do keep a pair in my car emergency kit, a pair in my overnight bag, even a pair in my glove box and stashed in my locker at work. These socks are tightly compacted and shrink wrapped around the edges (about half the size of a K-Cup). The packaging is *not* waterproof. The socks themselves are very thin, the toe seam is fairly rough and could cause blisters, and the material is not very soft. I honestly wasn't expecting much from "disposable socks" that I bought on a whim so I'm not let down. In fact, I'm a little bit impressed.

I would say I have no complain for this price, and they are really light weight. But do not expect much comfortableness for this price.

These socks are awesome for something being so compressed and "disposable".The inside of the socks is like a towel(furry). And amazingly feel nice and soft to the touch. I was like, wow!So it comes in a set of 8 pairs in the form of a big coin packet that you see in the pictures. It takes such little space that literally you will be traveling lighter.These socks stretch nicely and go back to shape. And to be honest I think this can be washable. Maybe will last me just one more time since for some reason I really wear off normal socks from the heel part only. Weird, I know LOL. The socks within minutes got fluffy, you can see the pic where I fold a pair, and are in my hand. Literally, grow in size. That was neat. No water is required :))I think is a great value pack and I think is an awesome product that can solve a minor problem, but we can still benefit from it. This is cheaper than trying to do laundry in a hotel.The socks feel like cotton, but I read in the description box are a mix of polyester-cotton. I wish were only cotton so it won't impact the environment...as much. Anyhow, I am loving these socks, that is just me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Not sure about the policies of this product if you want to return it, no sure you can, but you can find out. But if you can't, I think you can always give it as a gift. Maybe one of your friends travels. I only use power detergent. I didn't use anything else. I'm allergic to clothes softeners like Downy, but I can imagine it will look a lot better with it. Regardless, It didn't lose any elasticity, and I am wearing it as I'm writing this and feel comfy. It does look like it shrinks but didn't.Nice socks for just being disposable in my opinion.Have a great summer :)
