GUMP Dock Connector to HDMI HDTV Cable/Adapter for iPad, iPad2, iPad3, iPhone 4, 4s, iPod Touch 4

I've only given this 1 star as there is no option to give it zero stars. It has taken over a week to arrive as it was coming from mainland China, really Amazon should flag up from where a product is being sent as if I had known that it was outside Europe I would not have bought it. The only good thing about it is that it was so cheap I cannot be bothered to return it, my time is worth more to me. It just doesn't work, so don't be tempted by the cheapness, it is a total waste of time and money.

A very useful item. I bought it to view photos, videos and other items on a Sony Bravia TV, which it allows me to do easily. (You will, of course, also need an HDMI cable to connect to a TV.) It has also been great for catching up on missed ITV programmes using the ITV Player app on the iPad, but watching on the big screen rather than on the small iPad screen (no app available for the TV yet). Note, however, that the Channel 4 app (4oD) on the iPad has been prevented from playing through a TV, so can't be used in this way! (BBC iPlayer & Demand 5 on the iPad can both be played through the TV, though I haven't had to use these as the Apps are available on the TV anyway. (Note that using the iPad BBC iPlayer app would allow me to download a programme & view it on the TV up to 30 days later, whereas programmes are normally only available for one week.)I have had the adaptor for a couple of months, and can certainly recommend it so far!

Works great with my IPAD 3 and far cheaper than the Apple version. The only thing it cannot do compared to the Official Apple part is that you cannot charge the battery up whilst using it. Since I only connect it to my TV's HDMI for a couple of hours maximum, this is no problem for me. If this is only what you want it for, then it ticks all the boxes, and it might teach Apple to stop overcharging for their accessories. The build quality is very good and the connector is snug and reliable with no problems whatsoever.

This is cheap and looks ok but it doesn't work with I pad mini I also brought the lighting adaptor which they said worked with ISO 7 but it doesn't not from this supplier but thought for the cost it was worth a go think it works for some people but not others so if you want to take the gamble yr not loosening much money if it don't work THATS THE GAMBLE

Works brilliantly but seems to be restricted by more and more apps. Works with the home page and browsers, even iplayer. But, 4od and Netflix won't work. Worth an investment since it isn't very expensive but may become unnecessary with developments in wireless streaking.

Its not an Apple product but....it works on iPad 2 but not on the 1st generation iPad.At least it works and does what it is supposed to do, the only criticism is that it doesn't click into place so can come away easily.Delivered really quickly from the UK.

Works great with my iPad and much cheaper than the official product, just ordered another one for the inlaw's, top tip - grab a 1.8m HDMI cable from amazon for like £2

Good, however runs your battery low when using and cannot charge your phone/ipad whilst in use
