Well Made Solar Light
This solar spotlight is well made and provides decent light quality to my mailbox. I was surprised by how much metal was used. So far it seems like it is well made.

Very nice at first...but....
I have had these out now for almost 6 months with no problems. Unlike the ones I had purchased at Lowes, which leaked and died out after only a few months, these are well sealed and do *not* leak. We get a lot of rain here in FL (and/or the irrigation system sprays water on them), so it is imperative they are sealed well. I have them shining on two Crape Myrtle trees in front of house. Put out a good amount of light at max setting. They are not as bright as wired lights, but sufficient for accenting trees, etc., in the landscape. They do the job! Work even on partly cloudy days. I am definitely ordering more!Update: I have found some of my lights, though water resistant, have screws that are not. They need to be taken out to change the battery. The screw threads are fine...but the heads have corroded so badly on two of my lights, I cannot get them undone (screw heads easily become stripped, even with the most careful attempt, because they have deteriorated so badly). I would suggest these screws be coated with something to prevent corrosion before you put them out. A third, after about two years, no longer shines as bright as it once did, even with a new battery installed. So they don’t have a long life span in this environment.Another update. Over the last three years I have purchased several of these. I loved them the first year or two. BUT...when the battery starts going, you’re in for a real challenge. First, it’s difficult to find just the right battery. I had to order online from somewhere other than here (and the local Batteries Plus charges $20/battery!). I don’t know if it’s the quality of batteries, or the unit itself. But I not been able to obtain the same, high quality light I did when I first had them. I have tried several different ones. Very disappointed. Maybe this is common in these solar floodlights. I have switched to a similar light from Home Depot. It’s cheaper, gives off a softer light. And when I replace the batteries....it works just as it did when it was new. 😕

Great lighting abilities
Great lighting when they get enough sun. Daily charge lasts for a good amount of time on the high light setting. Ive ordered these 3 times and only had to replace them due to age or damage.

Beautiful lights!
These work great. They charged right up and cast a soft, beautiful light on my 1963 MCM home. I love that the light level is adjustable. Very happy with these lights!

Defective Product - lights dead in 3 months
This product is defective and does not work. I had bought 4 lights in Nov 2024 and all of them turned out to be bad. After about three months of purchase, one or two bulbs did not turn on in each light. Now in all the 4 lights, at least two bulbs have gone bad. The light is also of poor quality. I live in Florida and get 8-10 hours of sunlight. So, there cannot be any issue of not charging. Most unfortunate part is Customer Service. I tried to point to Manufacturer's warranty but they would not take any responsibility. Instead they would treat me like a cheat. I am copying below the language from the e-mail that I have received. It is very important that potential customers should know the harassment that they will have to go through. I will recommend not to waste your money in buying this product as you will be just throwing your money. I will also file a complaint with Amazon that this product was sold under false advertising. This product will not last for more than 3 months but was sold as it will last for 3 years. Please read the important contents of the e-mail that I had received from customer service to judge for yourself if you would like to go through this hassle. Exact quote from the e-mail:"Could you please follow these troubleshooting steps to try and fix the lights? If they still don't work properly, we will send you new lights to 8908 address. Please kindly provide us with the number of lights that are still not working and the CODE number on the back of the solar panel (the fifth line).1. Choose a proper position.1) Avoid installation locations with any obstructions that may shade or block the sun's rays during the day. The location needs to be away from light obstructions such as buildings, trees, fences, bushes, or the shadows that these create.2) Ensure that they are installed away from other light sources. If the solar lights are located near other light sources, the sensor may be triggered incorrectly, thinking that it is still daytime and preventing the lights from turning on.3) DO NOT leave the solar panel close to the light bulbs on the same light; pull it a bit away.2. Check for the switch button.Make sure the light is turned on: Take it into a dark room or cover the solar panel completely to test. Press the ON/OFF button a few times:(1) One press for weak light mode.(2) Another press for strong light mode.(3) A third press will turn off the light.3. Clean the solar panel.(1) Clean the solar panel with a damp towel. DO NOT use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on the module while cleaning.(2) Wait for a sunny day and place the light in an unobstructed spot where it can receive direct sunlight for about 48 hours.4. Reset and activation. (This step has successfully fixed the issue for many customers.)The batteries in the lights may become depleted, and the control IC may become inactive.(1) Take out the battery for about 30 minutes and reposition it to ensure that the battery is securely in place; screw the solar panel back on tightly. (There are four screws on the solar panel and they can be unscrewed to open it up.)(2) Shine a flashlight briefly on the solar panels so that they can receive the signal they need to start working again. In this step, please kindly also take a photo of the battery and wiring inside. This will help us identify where the issue might be. Thank you so much!"Even before the e-mail, I had tried everything to make the lights work. But to no consequence.

1 of set of 4 dead after 10 months, but overall, not bad product.
I bought these to accent some of the trees in my yard...they are bright and work wonderfully. They seem durable for being plastic. My only complaint is 1 of the four no longer works. I bought 10 months ago. Happy to re-review this and score higher if product replacement was possible. I am looking to purchase more lights like these, but due to not lasting a year, I'm going to try another supplier.

Awesome lights!
These are awesome lights. Two of the four I bought over four years ago still work , much to my surprise. The other two got destroyed by my horses. I just ordered four more. I’ve never stayed up all night to see if they last all night but I’ve woke up at 3-4 am and they are still going. Not true of some of my other path lights which fade after a few hours. Even on overcast days they charge
