Bowling ball!
It's definitely indestructible but by the same token, for a reason, it's solid and weighs enough to use as a bowling ball! If I threw this and my pup got in the way it would probably end her. It's too heavy and hard to kick so rolling it like a bowling ball is the safest bet. We've gone through dozens of other tough dog balls which usually last a couple of days but this, I have no doubt, will last her lifetime I just hope it isn't the reason because of my terrible aim :-0

Kinder alternative to a Boomer Ball
Bought this to replace a much loved Boomer Ball, which is now bitten and scratched and has caused injury. It is very sturdy and the pooch can sink her teeth into it and carry it, much to her delight. This is the same size as her old ball and she was a bit surprised when it bounced (Boomer Balls don’t on grass). Not had the excited yipping and total obsession yet, but it feels so different from the other ball, like rubbery plastic and it is quite thick. I have high hopes for this and will review again in a few weeks to report how it’s holding up. So far so good though 👍Edit: 4 months later and I’m so impressed with this, just ordered and received another one. Nothing wrong with the first ball. Pooch absolutely loves it and has been pushing, herding and carrying it round the park all summer. It’s covered in teeth marks, but no other damage and no sharp bits which is great. The new one is for indoors with winter approaching. It hasn’t damaged any furniture when it rolls into things and used with a play tunnel and a game of chase me, it certainly wears the pooch out if it’s lashing down outside. Best bit of kit I’ve purchased for my girl. You won’t regret it.

Excellent for aggressive chewers!
Purchased this for a 9 month old border collie who has managed to destroy every single toy he has ever owned….This is the first toy he has not managed to burst. Had it for 4 months now and it’s played with pretty much on a daily basis, so if you have an aggressive chewer I highly recommend this ball!!! So many other toys claim to be for aggressive chewers and aren’t.

Best ball ever for big dogs
Very durable and my dog loves playing with it. Previous boomer ball hurt his mouth and the guma were bleeding. This one is perfect!!

Great buy
I bought this for my boy - he is a chewer - he loves playing chase with this ball - he can pick it up and carry it around and I love the fact it’s still intact - great buy.

Ball Wedged Dog's Mouth Open
On both occasions that we gave our small border collie the jolly ball to play with, it got stuck in his mouth, wedging it open and was very difficult to remove. I would be concerned for his safety if he were to use it again.

Heavy, sturdy, re-inflatable, one of my GSD's favourite toys
UPDATED: Original Larger Orange ball - My GSD can just get his mouth around this so it does get a bit stuck sometimes, never needed to actually free him thus far. Maybe smaller so he could hold it properly or larger so he could only roll it may have been safer. As described although it now is full of teeth holes it stays inflated. He can squish it, but it re-inflates. Quite a solid/heavy ball - not suitable for drop kicking!Update 12/2019: RIP large Orange ball ... but very happy with smaller blue one for Christmas! Won't last as long by my boy is VERY tough on toys. I like this one more as less heavy and hard and much easier to kick without damaging foot or what it hits!UPDATE 2023: Lost the previous, rather sad and beaten up ball last summer - new one for his birthday now, very happy chappy! Still a total fav and one of the few toys he doesn't destruct!

Squashable, will reshape even if punctured. Not indestructable, but will take a lot of punishment.
These 'Jolly Balls' are made of a hard wearing, thick, synthetic mix of polyethylene - they will 'squash' in a dog's jaws, but the air valve allows them to reflate even if punctured. They're not indestructible, but they are pretty hardwearing. My dogs love nothing better than a game of rugby with one of these, and they're soft enough that even the youngster can join in. One of the uploaded pics shows the black shep with quite a grip on this ball - in fact his teeth had penetrated, but even though it was quite squashed, it popped back into shape as soon as he put it down. The circular shaped ones are better for dogs - I did have a couple of these balls that have an integral handle for throwing, but that soon got chewed off. These are great fun, and will bounce and float, even when punctured.
