This was a gift for a friend in hospital who was unable to get out of bed and shave, he loves this as he can shave everyday and the cleaner is brilliant

Good shaver. Provides a smooth shave. Holds charge well. Easy clean. This model is more convenient than the base model.I opted to pay the extra forthis version with cleaning cassette and stand.

I used to use a Phillips 3 series razor and am impressed by the fact that the blades keep their sharpness better than the 3 series one, although that is still only a few weeks, battery life improved too. Yes the 'On' button is in the middle of the handle, but not too hard to avoid it. Whilst it costs more than a 3 series razor, definitely worth the extra cost..

Philips have made rotary electric razors for as long as I can remember. I used to have one some years ago. More recently I have had other makes which had the traditional foil with vibrating cutter underneath. I decided to take a fresh look at Philips and was delighted when I came across this product. It is a really great razor. The head assembly and the rotating blades can all move independently in any direction, which means it adapts very well to the contours of your face. It is extremely quiet; MUCH quieter than the regular foil and cutter type of razor. It comes with a built in trimmer, which is easily extended or retracted, without having to turn the razor off and on or clip on a separate attachment. It is a breeze to clean, with every nook and cranny where hair can collect open to a quick wash under the tap after shaving. Another nice feature is the cleaning pod. Many other razors come with cleaning pods but they usually are large, cumbersome and have to be connected to power to work. Not so with this product. The cleaning pod is small and only has the cleaning fluid in it. The razor is placed in the top of the unit and the RAZOR power is used to perform the cleaning, which takes only 60 seconds. Brilliant! There is a visual indication when the fluid needs refreshing. What about the price? Well the current price on Amazon is fantastic. For under £100 you get a quality razor which is reliable, quiet and easy to clean. Above all it gives a great close shave.

This was purchased to replace a previously purchased razor from another manufacturer which repeatedly failed to turn on. To date this has worked perfectly although the finished shave isn't as smooth as I'd prefer, it gives a satisfactory result. You have to get used to the impression that it is struggling to work, it sounds as if the heads are turning very slowly, and using it in a rotary fashion instead of the usual movement normally associated with a razor. It holds it's charge well and the cleaning pod works quite well and is simple to use once the awful instructions have been interpreted.

Hey from Ireland :) First day today using it - charged it and put shaving foam all over face (you don’t have to) I just wanted to see what it would be able to achieve - zero pulling, zero worry about cutting myself , honestly it’s a 10/10 from me. Picture attached is first go shaving after full 5 days with zero shave so it done an excellent job, online they say it can take 2 weeks to get used to it and your skin adapt but it’s pretty easy to use and I am delighted. I’m not going to use the cleaning pod every time instead I’ll just rinse it and use the pod once a week or so again as you can wash it under the tap that’s fantastic and the amount of money I’ll save on both buying disposable razors and instead just use this.

Lighter, smoother shave, battery charge lasts longer. Overall a good buy.

This is an excellent shaver, if you get it on offer. The main issue I have with it is there are certain hairs that just will not cut with this razor, and so I have to go over them with a conventional razor or pluck them. It seems to be the same hairs every time that fail to cut, so I can only assume that these hairs are thicker or more dense than my normal facial hair.

Avevo dubbi sui rasoi elettrici, oltre che sulla tipologia (Braun Vs Philips) anche sulla resa. Devo dire che dopo aver scelto in modo pseudocasuale Philips, mi sto trovando benissimo. Avendo la pelle sensibile il rasoio a lametta mi tagliava spesso, nonostante schiume e balsami appropriati. Con questo rasoio ho quasi eliminato l'irritazione, ovviamente non mi taglio e soprattutto posso farmi la barba anche ogni giorno, usandolo sempre con schiuma e bagnato.
