SoundShaker Tactile Transducer Bass Shaker with Wireless Amplifier Seat Vibration Kit (Three Shaker, Amp)

SoundShaker came with my Theater Chair. I had to order the amp and one transducer as a set. Added the extra device to our couch. Then order this third one for the love seat. The Man Cave experience is off the chain. However, these units are way over priced!

This is a review for the SoundShaker Tactile Transducer Base Shaker and the SoundShaker Wireless Bass Shaker Amplifier which drives it:My first run-through with the SoundShaker, attached to my Equinox Home Theater seat, was binge-watching some old and new movies last weekend. I watched The Fifth Element, Charlie's Angels, Alien Covenant, The Dark Tower, and Ghost In The Shell. While I won't speak to the quality of the movies, there's no denying that having the SoundShaker made the experiences much, much more immersive. This device will really draw you into the movie! The whole chair just comes alive, and feels like it's a part of the movie.Setting it up took a little bit of figuring out. On the trasmitter side, my stereo amplifier still uses stereo wires, but the transmitter uses RCA cables. So I just had to run a converter wire to the regular RCA cables. By the way, RCA cables are included with the SoundShaker Amplifier kit.The strength of the shaking is adjustable, and I usually kept it about mid-dial. But for movies with a lot of action and explosions, I turned it up a notch or two. :) When it shakes, it's a little like the feeling when you're in a theater and it feels like the whole theater is shaking. It's simply awesome.

I was a bit skeptical of the SoundShaker’s ability to work well with movies and not have lag between the action and the shaking. The splitter that comes with the amplifier allows you to plug the SoundShaker wireless receiver, as well as my surround sound subwoofer into the home theater receiver.I decided to first test it out using Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Bluray. I can definitely say that the SoundShaker works seamlessly with every explosion, making me feel more engulfed in the action of the movie. I love that I don’t have to pay $20 each at the movie theater to get this experience, so the money was well worth it.On top of the movie experience, I’ve played a lot of Playstation 4 games including Call of Duty: WWII and Just Cause 3. I’d say that having the SoundShaker while playing video games is really the way to go. This thing is well worth the money.

adds a new dimension to your home theater and the wireless option means you don't need to run an additional subwoofer cable to your funiture - all you need is electricity. The amplifier's wattage is nowhere mentioned, but the 4 attenuators shake a large sectional well even at fairly low setting.As with all such devices it's recommended to use decoupling feet under your furniture, so you don't shake the house, scare the dog or anger the neighbors - and this also enhances the effect as it's not eaten up by the floor.installation on a large sectional took less than 1 hour. Ensure you mount the attenuators horizontally onto strong support beams in your furniture, so they can send their up-down movement into the furniture.The amp comes with a vertical stand, which I discarded and fabricated a under-furniture-mount with button-protector (against vacuum cleaner heads) from metal brackets picked up at my local home improvement store. It might be a 5star but it does not work with Sonos so it’s a wrap ! I sent it back . But I bet it would be great .

Finally purchased theater seating through another company but they were great and referred us to Amazon for the SoundShaker Wireless Amplifier. Since we have a complicated home theater ( or we just prefer to have someone else do a the work :) it took us a few months to finally hook up. Took maybe 3 minutes to do and wished we did it sooner. Super cool product and kids love it! Watched the Incredibles with it for the first time and awesome. Next we watched Hunger Games and felt like we were there. Highly recommend if you get theater seats.

My lord... That was intense. Watched the beach battle scene from Saving Private Ryan on these things and felt like I was there. Thankfully there is a toggle to turn the intensity up or down.The set up was fairly easy. The wireless dongle thing hooked up to my receiver. Then the amplifier sat next to my home theater chairs and connected with each sound shaker unit underneath each chair.Was told that each amp can power up to 4 chairs and each chair having their own unit (they called it transducers I guess).

I liked the product but it didnt come with the wireless amp , and now I cant locate one.
