Good quality and easy to assemble
Excellent quality for what it is. You’re getting a manufactured wood product, not solid wood so of course it’s going to be flimsier. However, as someone who has frequently purchased ikea and wayfair furniture that comes flat packed, this was definitely up there in terms of quality. I put two together in one afternoon. The instructions were very easy to follow, all the hardware and pieces were clearly labeled, and the end result were two very functional and decent looking storage cabinets! Would absolutely recommend. I never write Amazon reviews and I felt the need to for this product.

Very useful!
Really like it! Nice looking at sturdy. We're using it as additional cabinet space in our kitchen area. Not too complex to understand the assembly instructions, but I'd advise using two people to do it. I was the one that kept all the hardware organized and boards in the correct positions, and Husband just connected everything as I instructed. Process went very smoothly working like that. I like its narrow shape, fits right in the spot we needed it to, and there's a lot of depth in the shelves so it gives ample storage space.

Good Product
The instructions are clear, and the item was easy to assemble for one person. It's sturdy and heavy. One door is a tiny bit lower than the other, but otherwise, everything looks good. The doors open/close easily. Storage space is adequate and roomy. Holes were properly drilled, and there were no missing parts. The item was well packed, and there was no damage to the cabinet.

Outstanding unit
Outstanding packing . I have received and put together 3 units Each has arrived in great shape despite the heavy weight of box. Instructions are spot on illustrated well and actually make sense as long as you are willing to follow in an organized manner. Does take an hour or two to assemble. The hardware kit contains the exact number of pins, screws, etc . No extras so do not lose any pieces. Only one screw was defective. Once assembled the pieces are very precise and cabinet is very sturdy with a great appearance. Overall a well engineered product that appears it will last a long time if not abused.

Good Pantry backed by GREAT customer service
Alright so I will be honest, I had a few issues with this thing. First of all, mine came with the Left and Right ends totally broken in half. This was likely due to the package being mishandled somewhere in transit. Luckily, and I want to stress this part, Sauder will send replacement parts if any of them come broken. Free. Via UPS. They actually had them to me in less than a week. Off to a halfway decent start. Now as far as putting the thing together. Instructions are crystal clear. Just take your time, look at the pictures and make sure there are holes where the holes are supposed to be. I made a mistake but it was an easy fix (put the top on upside down, realized finished side goes inside the cabinet). The bottom piece is brilliant. The wood gets held together by joining it on plastic feet which are then attached to the bottom via screws. Super easy but you will need a long neck screwdriver. The back is where things might get a little hairy. Make sure the back is EXACTLY how you want it because the backing has pre-punched holes for the nails and it makes it very easy to hammer them too close to an edge and splinter it (this happened to mine, but not too bad and I was able to pull some nails out and move it back into place). The doors are a bit tricky but all the adjustments are there. Depth, height and horizontal movement can be adjusted by tightening and loosening screws and moving the doors themselves. Honestly the only thing I didn't love about the doors is the center of them is a piece of very thin wood that was slid into it, and you can hear it sort of wiggle around and make a sandy noise. Think of it like the door is a window, and they used cheap glass to fill it. The last thing to do is put the shelves in. Honestly this part is usually the easiest you just jam the studs in and plop the shelves on top. I don't know if we just got unlucky but... our shelves did not fit at first. We had to loosen the top piece which holds the whole thing together to get them in and even now they are SNUG. We won't be adjusting them because we probably cant get them out now. After retightening the top the whole thing is essentially a solid unit. Feels sturdy at least. Minor gripes aside It's a good pantry, and under $200 I really can't complain. If you're not looking to spend $400-500+ then you're either going to buy something that's hard to build / prone to fall apart or you're going to buy something wholly decent. I think that's what this is. A solid budget pantry, and one I could recommend.

Worth the purchase
I'll start off by saying that this is my 2nd & 3rd purchase of this cabinet. Living in a home built in the 1800's, we lack storage! The first one was purchased two years ago and used as a linen closet for my bathroom. After renovating our pantry this past week, I purchased two more of these to put side by side. This gives me lots of storage! I can tell you the instructions improved immensely on these since my first purchase. Very clear and easy to follow this time around. Even the nails/screws/pieces were clearly labeled. Here are my pro's and cons: Pro's -Instructions were very clear and the unit was surprisingly easy to put together (except for the doors - you'll need a 2nd set of hands to align the hinges). But being a tiny woman, I managed to put these together in no-time. -The hinges on the door do allow you to adjust the doors both horizontally and vertically in case they don't look even. The first cabinet had a big gap between the doors when I first installed them. The second cabinet, the right door fell a little lower than the left. Adjusting fixed it a bit. -You can easily adjust the feet in case your floor is slightly uneven to adjust the unit. I put two next to each other and this feature came in very handy. -Shelves are deep and adjustable. -Looks modern and clean Cons: -The door handles on one of the units are not even. Meaning, the holes were drilled slightly off. Nothing I can do about that one. Hardly noticeable, but I see it.... -As great as this unit is, the back of it is severely lacking in quality. It's literally a piece of cardboard backing (not even particle board). How is this possible?? -The doors close SUPER loudly. Maybe i'm just used to my soft close kitchen cabinets. I purchased cabinet bumpers to help with this. It made a difference. -While the shelves themselves are sturdy, they are made of particle board. I made the mistake in my bathroom cabinet of storing some liquid soap bottles in there and my iron. BIG mistake. I had a leak and the shelf bubbled and warped. Just a heads up to use contact paper or liners if you plan to store anything with a liquid. Overall, I am very happy with how these came out. They serve the purpose, look great, and didn't cause me to lose my mind when installing. These are worth the purchase!

Great product!!
Great product for the price! The materials aren’t the highest quality, but for the price it is definitely worth it! It looks fantastic and is very sturdy. We have an area in our house with a standup freezer and a little bit of space beside it so I was trying to find a cabinet that would fit in there well and this fits perfectly!! I am very pleased with this purchase! Make sure you pay attention to which way you put the top and bottom on though, because I put them on backwards and had to redo it. Also, the instructions were missing from the box, so I contacted Sauder and they immediately emailed me the instructions. I got in touch with them very quickly and easily and the guy even stayed on the phone until I received the email to make sure that I got the instructions! Customer service was fantastic!

Frustrating assembly, mediocre but usable and sturdy result
I've assembled several products like this over the years, but this one was especially frustrating. First, I had to wipe down every piece as they were all completely covered in sawdust, something I've not experienced before. When attaching the feet, I ran into a problem where one of the screws wasn't making it all the way through the cone-shaped opening, which apparently was too narrow for the screw, and so I had to jam it through. Then when attaching the back piece, I made the mistake of following the directions (which are different from the downloadable ones here) and nailed down the corners first, which I should have known was a bad idea, as it prevented me from being able to spread it out flat as I went, and resulted in a bulge at the bottom (see pictures). The biggest pain was attaching the doors. For the first door, I followed the instructions and attached the hinges to the door, but then of course the holes in the hinges didn't line up to the holes on the cabinet, so attaching the door was very difficult, especially due to the size and weight and trying to hold it up while fighting with the holes. So the second door I decided to attach the hinges to the cabinet first, then attach the door to them, but that also proved difficult, between some some of the hinges not fitting into the cutouts in the door very well and having to have the door in the closed position to get things to line up, which then meant I couldn't see what I was doing. It was also far too easy to damage the door (see chip in picture) when installing the shelves, so be careful of that. And once fully assembled, there are a few fit and finish issues that prevent it from looking as nice as it should. One is with the shelves, where the unfinished end is visible as a light-colored line between the shelves and the walls. Not a big deal since it's inside the cabinet at least. But the other issues are more significant. One is that no matter how I tried adjusting the doors, I couldn't get them to line up. To line up one area would cause another to be out of alignment. So they are uneven at the bottom, which really takes away from the overall look of the cabinet. If it wouldn't be such a major pain, and if I had paid full price, I would return it for this alone. Another is that the top is unfinished, so it looks cheap from above, especially since it's just cheap particle board. Finally, there were no included pads, which you're going to want for something this heavy to make it easier to move, not to mention prevent damaging your floors, so I used some felt pads I fortunately had on hand, and the door stop at the top is just hard plastic--no rubber, no pad--so the doors slam very loudly, and I'll have to add another felt pad there as well, which will negatively affect the looks if it's not the right color. All in all, absolutely not worth full price. Barely worth it on sale, but expect a frustrating and time-consuming assembly experience. As I said, I've built several various RTA-type products, and this was by far the worst. I expected it to take maybe an hour, but it took probably close to three. And the end result, while functional and decent for the (sale) price paid, is far from great.
