The kids are growing up..
My Yellow Rock Kribensis Cichlids had their first brood of 8 fry. Not bad, subsequent batches could be up to 40! This will accommodate that many. My fish are mouth brooders so mum would not eat for up to a month while holding. I made the decision to strip her of the eggs rather than slowly watch her waste away which is why I bought this Incubator. My advice is to use an air pump with adjustable flow so the water movement can be adjusted from gently rocking to more movement as the fry grow to help them become stronger. This was my first attempt at using an incubator and raising fry and was quite hair raising!Watch videos on YouTube for guides on raising fry in an incubator/egg tumbler.

Does what it needs to do
A very good product. Bear in mind you need to have an air pump to make it work.I have successfully incubated 3 batches of frys on it. Any unfertilised eggs eventually make their way out, which can clog the mesh.If you are breeding your cichlids, this will do the job.

It actually works
I have bought several cheaper egg tumblers in the past and tbh, there crap. Ziss might be a little expensive, but def well worth the money.

No fry escapes
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This fry keep is excellent. I find feeding the fry with a syringe injecting it into the sponge which then flows into the chamber
