Quality matcha
Organic Barista Ceremonial: This is a really great matcha. I was concerned "barista grade" may not be as good as ceremonial grade, but I decided to try it anyway because it's about $11 cheaper (and it's still a ceremonial grade vs culinary). This matcha has a nice bright green color, and it smells very fresh and springy. I used 1/2 a teaspoon, and I would say a little goes a long way in flavor with this one. It's strong, fresh, bright and mildly bitter. It also is very smooth and blends really well - no residue or matcha bits floating in the bottom of the cup. I've followed Dr. Weil for a long time, and as the "Father of Integrative Medicine," I trust him to make a good product. It's lab screened which is important to me as well, and I think it's fairly priced - esp compared to the $60 brand that a lot of influencers have jumped on which has 2 less servings. Definitely recommend!

Great taste, color, and aroma. Worth the premium price
Top notch Ceremonial Grade Matcha. (tin) Worth the premium price. Tastes sweet, fresh, with notes of earthy umami. Pleasant aroma.I make Sparkling Yuzu Matcha teas. Tastes just like the $8 drink I buy at my local coffee shop.

So good!
I really enjoy this barista grade matcha, it’s not bitter and you’re able to make the best matcha! I like using it for lattes so it’s really good

High-Quality Matcha with Authentic Taste
I've been a matcha enthusiast for quite some time, and Dr. Weil Matcha Kari's Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder has quickly become one of my favorites. This Japanese Barista Grade matcha offers an authentic and enjoyable experience, ideal for both traditional preparation and modern recipes. The first thing that struck me was the vibrant green color of the powder, which is a good indicator of its quality. Upon opening the tin, the fresh, grassy aroma was inviting and promised a delightful matcha experience. When I whisked it into hot water, it produced a beautiful, frothy bowl of tea with a rich, deep flavor that had the perfect balance of umami and slight natural sweetness. One of the standout features of this matcha is its smooth texture. There's no grittiness, and it blends seamlessly into water or milk. This makes it versatile for various uses, whether I'm making a traditional bowl of matcha, a matcha latte, or incorporating it into desserts and smoothies. The fact that it's organic and sourced from Japan reassures me about its authenticity and purity. Knowing that I'm consuming a product that adheres to strict farming and production standards is important for my peace of mind and health. That said, there are a couple of areas where it could improve. The price is on the higher end, which might be a consideration for those new to matcha or on a budget. Additionally, the tin could be larger, as 30 grams can go quickly if you're a regular matcha drinker like me.Overall, Dr. Weil Matcha Kari's Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder delivers a high-quality matcha experience with its vibrant color, smooth texture, and authentic taste. It's a bit of an investment, but for those who appreciate good matcha, it's definitely worth it.

Café matcha, but at home
This was a light refreshing matcha latte! It tastes like what you would pay $7 for at a café, but you’re able to make many more at home. This is a great starter matcha and doesn’t have many vegetal notes that typically turn people away from matcha. If you’re mostly making lattes, I’d recommend barista grade as the natural bitterness pairs better with milk.

Not for me
I bought the ceremonial organic blend and I would not repurchase this matcha. The color is very nice I will say. The color does not disappear when put in milk which is a good sign! What I really don’t like is the taste. This matcha is very astringent leaving a very strong bitter and powdery after taste. For the price I’d rather try a competitor. If I would try Matcha Kari again I would try maybe one that isn’t organic as many organic matches tend to have that strong biterness to it
