English Breakfast Tea, 4 x 80 bags

Lovely tea, I don't drink anything else now ! I also use them in hampers that I make up for charity and everyone likes them. Great quality. The size of the box is idea for keep the tea fresh in two separate foil packages. The price was very reasonable too ! The aroma is lovely I just love the smell of it while it is infusing about 8 min does the trick.

My standard purchase for tea, good tasting tea at a decent price. I'd call it robust rather than strong as I don't find it bitter or "barky" - full-bodied rather than delicate, it is to my taste for an enjoyable cup.

My favourite tea!

The strong full bodied taste of this tea is absolutely the best i have tried. This is a personal favourite of mine, after trying many black teas. After discovering this tea, every other tea brand i used to like just tastes bland in comparison. I found it to be the most tasty and refreshing tea i've ever tried and every tea drinking guest that visits enjoys it as much as i do! Definetly the best tasting tea i've ever had! Good value for money and worth a try for any tea drinker!

decent product at a decent price

I’m not a fan of PG Tips or Yorkshire Tea, as they’re not quite strong enough for my taste. I bought this for my mother. She likes her tea with milk, no sugar . I take my tea black with no sugar. Both of us found it a bit strong for our taste. I now use 1 teabag in 450 mls of water to make two large mugs of tea. Additional information - the tea bags are not packed individually and do not have a string. So, you need a spoon to take it out. Those who prefer strong Assam tea will probably like the taste.

I have done taste tests of various black teas, and have found this to be my favorite. It is strong and malty, with a delightful aroma. I sometimes use 2 bags, which packs a wallop of flavor. I cannot find an American tea that comes close to the flavor of this one. This is much more flavorful than the smaller Twining's English Breakfast tea bags that can be found in grocery stores. This tea comes wrapped in foil pouches, and the tea bags are large. I like it so much that I have gifted it to aspiring tea lovers. I am so happy that Amazon stocks this lovely brew.

Der Twinings 1706 English Strong Breakfast überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Wer einen klassischen schwarzen Frühstückstee mag, der wirklich Kraft hat, ist hier genau richtig. Schon beim Öffnen der Packung entfaltet sich ein intensiver, aber angenehm runder Duft. Die Teebeutel sind einzeln gut befüllt, und der Tee zieht schnell und gleichmäßig durch. Geschmacklich ist der Tee vollmundig, malzig und gleichzeitig klar im Aroma – ohne Bitterkeit, wenn man ihn normal ziehen lässt. Auch mit Milch oder einem Schuss Zitrone bleibt er kräftig genug und verliert nichts von seinem Charakter. Für mich ist er ideal als morgendlicher Wachmacher oder als Tee, den man auch mitten am Tag genießen kann, wenn man etwas Energie braucht. Positiv ist außerdem, dass die 80er-Packung lange hält und das Aroma gut geschützt bleibt. Die Qualität ist durchgehend konstant – kein bröseliger Inhalt, keine schwach gefüllten Beutel. Twinings liefert hier wirklich ein rundes Produkt ab, das geschmacklich mit deutlich teureren Marken mithalten kann. Fazit: Ein hervorragend abgestimmter, kräftiger Schwarztee mit viel Aroma und einem richtig guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ein Klassiker für alle, die ihren Frühstückstee stark und voll im Geschmack mögen. Ganz klar fünf Sterne, aber leider etwas teuer.
