Strong, permanent
I've used J-B Cold-Weld Epoxy on a variety of projects, and it has consistently delivered impressive results. This product is a go-to solution for strong, permanent repairs on a wide range of materials, including metal, wood, plastic, and more. The two-part formula is easy to use—just mix equal parts of the resin and hardener, apply it to the surface, and let it cure. One of the standout features of J-B Cold-Weld is its incredible bonding strength. Once cured, it forms a solid, durable bond that can withstand high stress and pressure. I’ve used it for both household repairs and automotive fixes, and it has held up exceptionally well under different conditions. Whether you need to patch a crack in a metal frame, fix a broken tool handle, or repair a household item, this epoxy won’t let you down.Another thing I appreciate is the versatility in finishing. After the epoxy has fully cured, it can be sanded, drilled, or painted, which is perfect for creating seamless repairs that look professional. The cure time is reasonable, giving you enough time to adjust the application before it starts setting, but it doesn’t take an excessive amount of time to fully harden either.Overall, J-B Cold-Weld Epoxy is a reliable and effective solution for both small and large repair projects. It’s affordable, easy to use, and delivers results that last. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a tough, permanent fix for their repair needs.

Excellent product
I had a crack in my clay Chiminea, I cleaned the surface after then sanding and drying it, then applied this filler, hoping that the comments it was heat resistant would be correct. Well I coated it with VHT paint after, it has not changed after many hot fires, it really goes off hard, it takes longer than say plastic padding, but it really is the business. It really is heat resistant and very tough. I have used it on other metal joining applications and it really sticks well as long as the preparations are good too. Highly recommend the Filler.

Very messy but very effective
I bought to repair 6mm bolt fixing points ABS plastic carrying handle and mud-guard on a mobility scooter. The bolts secure a heavy gearbox, steel chassis, real axle, wheels and motor at least 15Kg. This took 2 attempts. The first failed as I tried to minimise the visual appearance of the repair and didnt use sufiffient thickness. The second attempt was a minimum of 2 mm thick and has held now for over 6 months of regular use. The repair is very visible from the underside. As with any epoxy type 'glue' it is easy to get it everywhere. I would strongly recommend gloves and glasses, and I'm someone very used to getting glues and paints on my hands. It's very black and even with acetone is hard to clean off body parts, the dining table, furniture and places other family members may not appreciate it sticking to. But this is a good thing. It's glue. We don't want it to come off stuff! JB Weld is more effective than plain epoxy adhesive but not as subtle. It sticks to things that epoxy can't. It sets harder than epoxy. In fact it sets harder than pretty much anything that I've ever squeezed out of tube! When something carries the same health warning 4 times and uses words like "respirator" and "First Aid" you know it means business! It will sand down but it's hard going by hand and clogs abrasives, So as a means of sticking stuff together it's great, but at least when I use it, It sure ain't pretty! it says setting time is 4 hours, but working time is around 20 minutes. Setting time just means it is no longer liquid, in much the same way cake mix solidifies in the oven. At this point its about as strong as cake. Unlike cake, JB Weld takes 24 hours to get strength (I found out the hard way) .

It Works Brilliantly
Bought the JB Weld to repair the concrete reservoir of a fountain after it split due to frost damage. The crack was broad enough to see daylight through. I mixed the JB Weld as recommended and filled the crack and applied a continuous layer for a couple of inches above and below the crack. The grey colour matched well with the concrete. After 24 hours I filled the reservoir with water and there were absolutely no leaks whatsoever. The fountain has been returned to use and the repair is scarcely visible from the outside. The large 10 oz pack allowed a more than generous amount of epoxy to be applied, which doubtless contributed to the success of this repair. Good stuff!

Highly Recommended
The uses for this JB Weld are endless,FYIIt is odourless. It gives you plenty of time before it starts to set which is around 30 mins before it starts to hold it's shape. In 24 hours it's set as hard as stone. You can sand it file it etc.Example:I used it to re-bond a metal hinge onto the back of a glass oven door and years later it's still holding fine even with the all the heat and constant opening and shutting the door !Very tough stuff just make sure the areas to be bonded are super clean and grease free!I have been using this for the last 5+ years for all manner of things and it has not failed yet.

Does what it says on the tube .
Takes to long for JB Weld to become completely cured , especially when your vehicle you have made the repair to is needed before the curing time stated is up But having said that , l like the length of time JB Weld takes for the initial curing time begins , which helps in getting the mix in all the right places , and you don’t have to rush . The repair l made was on my fuel tank , and up till now there has been no issues.
