Our bee cookie mold is very delicately carved to give you that impression of almost transparent wings. Bees have many meanings from community, resurrection, to immortality. In the Middle Ages, bees produced honey which was the first sweetener of springerle cookies before refined sugar became available. This mold is made of a food-safe resin that is unbreakable and waterproof. It comes with metal eyelet hanger attached at top for display on a wall. Please note that the impression in the alternate photo is provided for you to see what a cookie made with the mold might look like. The impression is not sold with the mold.
